Although I considered a career in music briefly in college, I decided to remain an amateur (other than some very part-time teaching of guitar). I really don't regret it, as my music can simply be a passion for me without the pressure of having to scratch out a career.
Oh, I forgot to tell you about my guitar. It's a very inexpensive Hernandez that I got used in college, around 1990. It's the only classical guitar I have ever owned. I always say that, while it's nothing special, it's very special to me.
