      Thanks, Todd. Like you, solitude has a very positive, joyful connotation for me.

    Wow, I immediately loved that and that's not too usual for something I've never heard before haha. Well done!

      Thanks, Tate! I saw it on David Jacques channel about a week ago, and after a lot of digging, I found a score, and I’ve been playing it ever since. The phrasing is a bit unusual, but I find playing it addictive.

    So well played Eric! Clean with a nice sound! Also nice with different camera angels 🙂
    This was new to me. Thanks for letting me know!

      Thank you, Tobias! I will never be able to make the creative videos that you make, but the little angle shift is helpful for getting a clean take.

    Well played, Eric! The bassline reminds me a lot of a Chopin piece I can't place right now

      Thanks, Josh! I'm not aware of any similarity to a Chopin piece, but I would not be surprised.

    Super les 2 prises de vue! Un conseil pour des exercices de demancher au niveaux de la connaissance du manche ?

    • @ericphillips7057
      @ericphillips7057  2 месяца назад

      Merci! Je sais que cela semble ennuyeux, mais ma connaissance du manche vient du fait de jouer toutes les gammes majeures et mineures de haut en bas de chaque corde, puis également dans quelques positions fixes. De plus, la lecture à vue dans diverses positions et octaves est excellente.

    Eric, I've listened to several of your selections. Amateur? How long have you been playing. Very well done. Is that an old Garcia classical guitar? Whatever it is, sounds very nice.

      Thank you so much for listening! I have played guitar for 40 years, and classical specifically for 34 years. Although I considered a career in music briefly in college, I decided to remain an amateur (other than some very part-time teaching of guitar). I really don't regret it, as my music can simply be a passion for me without the pressure of having to scratch out a career.

      Oh, I forgot to tell you about my guitar. It's a very inexpensive Hernandez that I got used in college, around 1990. It's the only classical guitar I have ever owned. I always say that, while it's nothing special, it's very special to me.

      Thanks for the guitar information. The intonation sounds very good all the way up the fret board. Besides being so talented with such a broad repertoire, it is enjoyable to listen to your music. Thanks
