I appreciate your enthusiasm and this channel, but.....I just got back from a family vaca on the Big Island and Maui....and found both, quite frankly, boring....The Big Island is a bit desolate outside of Kona and Hilo. Kona has one street that's full of tourists and much too crowded. Maui, is more beautiful but boring as well (and the road to Hana is way over-rated). Sorry to be a negative Nancy but a few weeks in San Diego is just as beautiful, more convenient and much more fun....just saying

I like the Haupia Pie at Big Island Grill better (but they need to replace the graham cracker crust with the Mud Pie's Oreo crust!)
