We want the whole episode!!!
I feel like cinematography is underrated
Lola Chevok Its something that isn’t appreciated by the masses, sure, but in the industry its one of the most respected positions there is.
I would also argue that the vast majority of cinematographers aren’t looking to be worshipped and followed like actors
Daniel Solano yea I don’t think someone becomes a cinematographer for the glory but I wish people appreciated it more
It's the fabric of logic
EXACTLY! So now they're only doing a 13 minute video with cinematographers??? That's insulting. These people have been nominated for OSCARS!!! (welp two of them have) common HR you're missing out on some amazing chats.
Editing and production design is less appreciated than cinematography
I love that they left the interview in LOG lmao
Libatique is on a different level
Mother! Is beautiful filmed
REALEASE THE LONG FORM INTERVIEWS!!! Release the long form interviews, the biggest part of these series is the interaction between the table
Linus Sandgren over here representing us Swedish people in cinematography of the big Hollywood world, and kills it. Latest Bond was great!
Alfonso is 1 In a million
Where is the full episode anyone have a link please?
Maybe Galo Olivares should've sat on this Roundtable? Alfonso Cuarón totally snatched his co-DP credit for Roma. Not cool. He should've take some advice from fellow Directors who've ventured into Cinematography like Paul Thomas Anderson, Steven Soderbergh, etc. who don't even credit themselves as DP. Or at the very least recognize the work of his Co-DP Galo Olivares, who is only credited as "Cinematography Collaborator" what does that even mean? is there a union for "cinematographer collaborators"? Total BS. All DPs should stand for the respect of their work, no matter who the Director is.
He signed an NDA, you'll never hear about it. Maybe in the future you'll hear that he was paid a million dollars to forgo the credit.
Alfonso Cuarón started as a cinematographer. Lubezki worked with him too. No one credits assistants. I think it was perfect for him to do it on his own. Not a lot of directors can pull that off.
why isn't barry jenkins cinematographer here?
aryaman ray yea! If Beale street could talk was beautiful.
They uploaded another conversation with him. Too bad they didn´t have a roundtable like last year.
These guys all have nice hair.
And you have a nice brain....
Nice grading
Cis het white dudes talking about how great they are? Hard pass
Not that it matters but this type of intolerance is literally destroying the world right now.
Please don't spread hate here.
