Soooooo Brian, I commented on your Deep Work video about a week ago when I first stumbled upon your channel. Since then I have felt like a person who suddenly finds Netflix and realizes they can "binge" on their favorite shows. LOL What you are doing (and apparently have been doing for years--where have I been:) is quite remarkable. I minored in philosophy in college and I am a writer and avid reader. I feel like I'm in this awesome class with one of my favorite teachers when I watch these videos and your concept/format is such a breath of fresh air from all the "noise" in our society. Bravo Brian! #TonsOfValue
Nice to hear somebody not calling Castaneda a fraud ... He wrote the most important books of the 20th Century. I would not have realized that we have gone thru an evolutionary leap without his books.
The written account on Castaneda's books explains why people are obsessed with the mysterious but only focused on the concatenation of the mind. That there is the possibility of human evolution that is not biological but magical. That life is all complete and there is an incalculable power at our fingertips.

Thanks you so much for your great presentation of this book ! I am excited to read this book who stand next to me right now :)
Nearly as important as a path’s heart, a path, is JUST a path. A path can only ever be, but a path. Outside the “heart” of a path there are no negative, or positive associations by remaining on a path or, discarding it for another. See also “F**K fish” by John Laroche.
Excuse me Brian, Carlos Castaneda was a PhD. candidate at UCLA and his PhD. committee awarded him his Doctoral Degree based on his first book, The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge. (not his master's degree)
Actually, he based his dissertation on, and got his degree for, his third published book "Journey to Ixtlan." His first bood, "The Teachings of Don Juan ..." got him in trouble with the UCLA administration for popularizing recreational drugs, which is why he never got a teaching position, even after getting his PhD.

Let me guess ... you weren´t recommended any of this ... you actually typed " Carlos Castaneda " .
'thru'
he's been discredited by the entirety of the academic community including where he fraudulently got his doctorate.
@@Uchoobdood but they are only academics, academics generally don't have knowledge.
