    Fun fact- the MiG 21 used the SPO-10 RWR, and despite it having its silhouette drawn on the SPO-15, it never used it

    Your videos are fantastic. I purchased DCS recently and added Flaming Cliffs to get a good overview. Most of my time is in the A-10A, but I’m very fond of the SU-27. Will likely add the P-47 soon and the Normandy region.
    My first several times I have really gotten killed often. It’s a taxing simulation, I am just now beginning to appreciate. Your videos have really helped. Thanks!

    • @rodri_merli27
      @rodri_merli27 Год назад +1

      If the hostile is firing IR guided missiles, your RWR won't paint them since IR missiles don't emit radiation. So you'll hear the locking tone, but won't hear the launch beeps. That's why Su-27 can be deadly as a stealthy fighter with the R-27ET missiles.

      @@grimreapers although just by looking id prefer the us rwr anytime. It gives you clean and fast information on any threats and identifys them by one look which is the main advantage and the one which makes it better in my book. One quick look and you know what is seeing you, also what type and approximate range. Sure russian can do that aswell but with us u have the exact type of aircraft/sam usually without having the chance of doing a mistake yourself misinterpreting the rwr
