What a great way to start the week. Thank you so much Courtney Ann for digging these out of wherever they were hidden and sharing with us. Come Along is one of my absolute favorute PTX covers. Watching them do this live is fantastic! Scott looking at Mitch in anticipation of that high note up in the clouds made me laugh - I was anticipating it too and Mitchell did not disappoint hitting that note spot on! I hear Matt on that bass throughout more than in the studio version so perfectly. Kirstie clear as a bell. Scott so raspy. Kevin on that beat driving the rhythm is perfection. PTX live performances are beyond exceptional proving over and over again that well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for category of Live Performance.

Wow! That was every bit as good as the 'Official' video with it's post production. Better in my humble opinion! The timing and blend was dead on. LOVED it!!!
I first heard them perform this on their 2019 tour, but had to wait a long time before they released it. (Same with Happy Now!) I fell in love with it at the concert, so it was tough to wait for the release!

You are killing me with how good these live streams sound!! Come Along is one of my favorites which I refer to as a “sleeper hit” from PTX. I’ve heard the original and I would still like to know the story behind the decision to cover this song. Who’s idea was it and why? Such a brilliant transformation from the original. If anyone can shed some light on this for me I would really appreciate it. You all are absolutely phenomenal!! ❤❤❤❤

I am confused. I know how well they sing live. I went to a concert. But sometimes I think they lip sink. This track was exactly, to the note, from their main video. Listen to this and listen to that and you will see...exact. I heard them sing many songs live and they are not exactly the same as their videos. I saw another one on a TV program same thing. They are by far my favorite group of all time but one of the two videos is not live. Probably the official one. Maybe taped from this and lip sinked
It's possible, they've done that before for these corporate Livestream gigs...their audience for these things hardly know who they are, much less familiar with their non Christmas music lol.
@@PTXWeeklyNewsPWN i think these are not the original sound. Might be a few live recordings mixed together or lipping over a new live recording or just a staight through live with proper clean up and mixing. Im learning towards option one or two. It's not the original official audio, there are small differences.
This is not the studio version. Pentatonix "Come Along" cover is one of my favorite songs. I watch the video several times a day and I listen to it on Spotify several times a day. This performance is different and I can hear the differences. Listen to Scott and Matt especially. Not exactly the same. Different. My favorite part near the end with Mitch and Matt doing the choral part is definitely different. They just sound good live. It's kinda their job. lol.
This doesn't sound like the studio/video version at all, so... what an interesting comment from the OP.
