- While my system remains the same, what I use for my system changes. This is how I use my Hobonichi Planner. If you have any questions, please ask!

I am super appreciative of this video and you, You are the first professional that I have come across in planning. I've watched many videos for decorating and creativity. However, I really wanted an example of a professional planning the balances of family, work, finances, tracking. etc. Thank you!,
Jackie Jones Thank you! so much!!
This exactly what I was looking for. I planned on getting a Hobonichi for 2019 but wanted to make sure I would be able to use it the way I was thinking of. Your set up is what I want to do in it. Thanks! I’m sold on getting one.
Cynthia Charles Aww! Thank you for the nice comments. I do love my Hobo. I will play with another system, but I haven’t made seven days in another. I keep coming back to my Hobo.
I am in LOVE with everything in this video! You've sold me on changing my entire system (currently in a pocket plus) and moving all my planning into my hobo. Thank you for such an indepth video ❤️
Thank you! I really appreciate it.
Thanks for posting this! I needed some ideas on how to plan in a hobonichi! Yours is one of the best videos I’ve found! 😊
Erin Mandrell Thank you Erin!
my hobo is my all-in-one planner as well! i love stamping and watercolouring and drawing in the extra space.. i use a small MUJI weekly book at the back.. excited to see someone using their hobo in a very similar way!
Thank you!
The way you use the hourly boxes is brilliant! I'm new to Hobonichi (Cousin) and have been trying to figure out a way that made sense. Thank you.
Octavia Oliver Thank you!
Love seeing how you work with your hobo. This is my first year, and I love it!
Love your setup! Gives me ideas for my A6 for 2019
Danyel, thank you for doing this. I found it very helpful especially since I just ordered my first Hobonichi, and I am waiting for it to arrive. You gave me plenty of ideas. I do wish I had ordered "the weeks" booklet, but I will wait and see if I really need it. Thanks again.
Linda Epstein Thank you Linda! Enjoy.
I really enjoyed your in-depth peek at your Techo. Thanks!
Sharon Pickett Thank you!
I really like this. Great ideas that I'm going to incorporate for my Hobo. Thank you for sharing. 👍🙋♀️😀
Lisa Marie Thank you!
Great ideas!! I just got my Hobo in the mail today!! Glad I've seen this !! And it's awesome and amazing what you do for your work!! Thank you 😊
Meg Cooke Thank you! Enjoy your Hobonichi!
Thank you for sharing this video....I'm currently using the cousin but have been debating getting the A6 and love how you're using it especially with your daily scripture verses.
I'm also a big foxy fix fan and would love to see how you're using these differently to plan. I love planning in my hobo but sometimes feel as though I'm doubling up in my TN and bullet journal. Thanks! 😊
CreatedTo Plan Thank you! I will show how I use my Foxy's. Sometimes my planning is duplicative and I'm trying hard to avoid that!
Danyel Gooch Thank you, Danyel, I'll look forward to seeing how you're using your foxies. It's reassuring to know it's not just me that duplicates!
CreatedTo Plan when I use a monthly book or ring planner (or Bujo) I copy the info into my Hobo. While I often use my Hobo as a planner, it is mostly my journal. I don't write in sentences, but I can look at the page and know how my day went and what I did. That is why I don't mind duplicating here. It's the others areas I'm really trying to decrease.
Danyel Gooch Thanks Danyel, that makes sense and I love how you're using your A6. If you do discover any tips that help you decrease duplication in your other planners then I'd love to hear about it! 😊
I didn't realize how long ago this video was, I was like Foxy Fix opened 🤔😅
Love this! May I ask where you got the closure band??? Is there is a name for it? I have one that I got off a swap table and need another one!!!
lorrie dunivin Thank you! The closure band is from the Hobonichi site. I don’t know if you can get them from JetPens, Baum-Kuchen, or Amazon in the US. I haven’t looked actually.
You said your first planner you shouwed was a cousin. What is the one here with the cover? I like how you track items and have set your planner up, where did you get the little map I saw in one of you videos? Also does ink bleed thru from one page to the next or what should I use so this does not happen.
C Olson The Hobonichi here is the A6 Planner (English version). I bought a digital file of a US map 3-4 years ago from a map website. Since it is a jpeg, I resize and print for my planners. Same for the states map, it is a digital file that I purchased that I print for my books. To prevent bleed through, I will use Prima Chalk. I will also use VersaMagic chalk ink, but it does leave a bit of a chalky residue to me. If I watercolor a page, I have a Stazon ink pad that is old that I use for that purpose. In this video, I didn’t show the Cousin, I just mentioned it. Both books I show are the Hobonichi Planner.
Thank you for watching!!
Danyel
Thank you so much.. learned so much as a New hobonichi user. May I ask what your weekly book is? Is it by hobonichi as well? Looks good for a food journal.
My little book is the Hobonichi weekly supplement (the green one). Thank you!

Bonjour; quelle encre utilisez vous pour vos stamps ? votre vidéo est chouette' merci
Lydie Frotin Merci! My French is quite rusty, so the rest will be in English. The inks I use in my Hobonichi are chalk inks primarily. I love the Prima Chalk edgers and I will use VersaMagic. I also use Stazon with a light touch if I will do water color.
