Hi Esther! I just got Our Happy Habits and Hobonichi Calendar goodies! I LOVE EVERYTHING! Our daughter woke up this morning so excited to use her Happy Habits, she is only 5 and I love seeing her so motivated! She is a "go getter" kind of girl and it is easy to see that the Happy Habits weekly guide is a perfect fit for her! Thank you!
yay!! I´m SO happy to hear that. And I´m glad everything arrived safely, hope the both of you enjoy everything! Your little girl sounds like my kind of gal ;) xoxo
I have to say this is the best video for giving me actual functional ideas of how to use and structure my hobonichi. First year with a hobonichi. I love your clean lean and attractive use of stickers. I don't really understand when people fill up the whole page with stickers - how can they see the planning - but that's just me. You've given me some good ideas and inspiration. I plan to watch your other videos and visit your shop. Thank you
Thank you so much Bonnie! You´re very sweet to say such nice things. I´m really glad the video was helpful for you and that you were able to get some ideas. Starting a new planner is always so exciting and the best time of year, if I do say so. lol! Have a lovely day!
hahaha, yes I'm hoping to stick with it the entire year...but being in the planner community will be dangerous, who knows what novelties will come up and make us change our mind!
I love the way you are utilizing this planner! Your finance page has helped me, as I've been struggling on just how and where in my Hobonichi Cousin do I want to set this up. Now I know!! Thanks so much for sharing and can't wait to visit your website!!
I love how you customize your planner to make it your own and what works for you. Great ideas, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your videos next year :)
Enjoyed your set-up. I'm using Hobonichi A6 size so far as main planner, and the Hobo Weeks as my wallet combo. Look forward to seeing how things progress with your usage.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I had a hard time choosing what size I wanted, I really liked the portability of the A6, but then I really wanted the weekly pages from the Cousin, so A5 it is.
This was SUPER helpful. I am new to the Hobonichi Cousin and the only videos I've seen are unboxing 2017 or old 2016 setups. Thank you for posting this! I now have a better idea of how I want to set up my Avec which is in my mailbox at home waiting for me!
Awesome! So happy you were able to get some ideas from my setup. I agree, there need to be more Hobonichi videos out there, though there is tons of inspiration on the facebook groups.
I have a Hobonichi A6 for art and will use as bullet journal "lite", a Filofax personal size for finances and planning and a Moleskine Peanuts day per page pocket size for my bag. I track fitness and food in that, plus put shopping lists, etc. Then I have a large size Moleskine Peanuts day per page that is my work planner. I'm going to figure out how to consolidate all the non work planners for next year. That is a goal anyway!
lol, wow! your setup sounds amazing! I have trouble keeping up with 1 planner as is, though I always find it interesting how everyone else plans their daily life.
The Stabilo (size 88) color felt tip pens are awesome, too!!! Super affordable and they dry pretty quickly on the Hobonichi paper ... I bought a set of 30 for $19 USD on Amazon :)
Thank you so much, the transparent cover on cover is awesome because you can switch out designs anytime, and with all the scrapbook paper available, there are endless possibilities! ;)
Thank you for an excellent video. I am forsaking my Erin Condren vertical to go into a Hobonichi Techo Cousin and have been hunting for inspiration to make each section less formal and more fun. I have clicked through to Follow each of your social media spaces and I look forward to more inspiration in the future.
yeah I know what you mean, I used an Erin Condren for a full year already and I have to say I really liked it, though I´m excited to venture into new planners such as the Hobonichi. Thanks for your sweet words!
Wow! I love your setup! Especially your yearly calendar, the finances page and the social media page. I hope you show us an update after the new year 😉🎄
the great thing about having the clear cover is that I can switch out the cover design whenever I get tired of it, though I really love the floral pattern, it will probably stick for some time, hehe. Thanks for watching!
Honestly, after watching your video I'm more than tempted to order a Hobonichi ... but I have to be strong and wait till next year! I have to! :-D You have just a perfect use for every layout and how you use color is just adorable!
I love the way you set up your planner - I'm using the same one :) The finance tracker is great! Cute cover, as well. Happy holidays and new year from Las Vegas!
Thank you for sharing! Love the cover up washi tape idea....please come back after you have a few of the week on two pages done and also what you decide to do with the daily pages. Im needing ideas for those as well.
Thanks! Yes sure no problem! I'll make an updated setup as soon as I start using it a bit in the new year. I am definitely still pondering ways for those spreads.
Wow. New to your channel and I love it! Thank you for showing some serious planning mixed with some pretty! I'm a huge Hobo fan, but also like to add some functional stickers. I'll definitely be heading over to your shop! Thank You!
Beautiful job, I am curious if you have done a follow-up since so we can see what you decided to do with the extra space pages and blank areas on the weekly pages. I am debating on moving into a Hobonichi Cousin, I just need to see more uses for it since it is a bit pricey.
oh I know! confession? I had planned to order the Avec Cousin but when placing my order I accidentally bought the regular Cousin. hahaha so we'll see how that goes! I love using washi and stickers, hopefully it won't chunk too much.
Oh my goodness!! I just got a moleskine weekly and as much as I love starting a new planner, I already hate the paper as everything I use goes right through or doesn't dry and smudges - sooooo want to order a Hobonichi........ yours looks beautiful x
awww, that's too bad. I was using a Leuchtturm1917 this entire year and there were a few pens that bled through. The Hobonichi is pretty resistant. There's shadowing but no bleed through so far.
I loved this video!! Thank you for making it, this was super inspiring to me. I am ALSO a new hobo user transferring from a bullet journal system, so seeing how you set up your cousin gave me lots of awesome ideas :) Best wishes to you in 2017!
Aww best wishes to you as well!! so happy I was able to inspire some ideas. There are just so few Hobonichi setup videos out there, so any ideas are always needed.
I love the way you set up your Hobonichi! ^o^ 2017 will be my third year using Hobonichi planners. Btw, the free pen is actually a Uni Jetstream :D Although I love the Uni Style Fit too!
Gosha's Peace and Serenity Massage Spa hi! well i'm on holiday right now, but i will be uploading the stickers next week when i get back. send me a message through the contact form in the customs stickers section and i'll get back to you as soon as possible :)
Gracias!
Do you have the template for your rainbow headers? I have a Silhouette cutting machine and the software but have been going crazy with trying to size them to fit my Hobonichi cousin. Thank you!
Hi there, there seems to be no problem with the video, perhaps it's your connection speed? Sometimes if it's rendering slow RUclips will automatically reduce the resolution, you can check the video options and make sure to adjust it to HD. ;)

I'm sure this system is going to work perfectly, it sure does covers pretty much everything 😊💖
I posted a similar recently, we'll see how long I'll stick with that plan 😂😂😂
hahaha, yes I'm hoping to stick with it the entire year...but being in the planner community will be dangerous, who knows what novelties will come up and make us change our mind!
I like that you don't waste time! You get right to the meat of the video!
hehe thanks! time is so valuable I just prefer to cut to the chase ;)
I love the way you are utilizing this planner! Your finance page has helped me, as I've been struggling on just how and where in my Hobonichi Cousin do I want to set this up. Now I know!! Thanks so much for sharing and can't wait to visit your website!!
Thanks Beth! I have to admit the finance table is my favorite spread in the entire planner, lol, it´s SO helpful. ;)
I am new to the planner world. I have been working on becoming more organized. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome to the planner community! You'll find it's a very positive place full of ideas. Thanks so much for watching!

Love the way you customized the hobonichi 😊 I would love to get some of the headers that you made. Definitely have to do a update 😃
Thank you so much! I've gotten a few requests on the headers, I'll be putting them up on the shop this January for sure ;)

Planner Holics I need to streamline!
The Stabilo (size 88) color felt tip pens are awesome, too!!! Super affordable and they dry pretty quickly on the Hobonichi paper ... I bought a set of 30 for $19 USD on Amazon :)

I love the bright colors you're using💜 this was great-thanks for sharing!

I love your cover, that's so beautiful!

hehe yes! it should be very helpful. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Monica! Yup, I'll be doing an updated setup as soon as a few weeks go by and I start to get the hang of it.
Your cover is great! Thanks for this video. You gave me a lot of good ideas for how to use some of my pages.
the great thing about having the clear cover is that I can switch out the cover design whenever I get tired of it, though I really love the floral pattern, it will probably stick for some time, hehe. Thanks for watching!
I'm using the same. You have some very good, useful ideas. Thanks for sharing

Thank you! Yup, I did a flip through not too long ago of how I´ve been using it, check the link here: ruclips.net/video/1eZDhWIvZGY/видео.html
Great video! I will use a Hobonichi Cousin Avec because this year the Cousin got so fat and heavy. Hope to see more creative videos from you!
oh I know! confession? I had planned to order the Avec Cousin but when placing my order I accidentally bought the regular Cousin. hahaha so we'll see how that goes! I love using washi and stickers, hopefully it won't chunk too much.

yep I was in an LT1917 this year - think I'm going for the plunge and getting the hobo - cannot live all next year with this regretful feeling :-)
Love your planner!
thank you Gracie!
Gosh, I really want to make the monthly labels for my own hobonichi, is it possible to get the dimensions? If not that's totally cool!

How did you make the weekly and monthly washi tape stickers? I think they are so cool!
Thanks Annabelle! I used a cutting machine to make them ;)
Thanks for the vídeo! 😊 Sabes donde se puede comprar este planner en España? Gracias¡ 😊
Muchas gracias Ana! No conozco de ningun sitio en Espana donde vendan esta agenda. Yo la compre en la web oficial de Hobonichi.
Do you have the template for your rainbow headers? I have a Silhouette cutting machine and the software but have been going crazy with trying to size them to fit my Hobonichi cousin. Thank you!
Any chance you will consider selling the monthly header stickers?
Hi Tarisha! Yup, I'll be uploading them to my shop this January! stay tuned on social media ;)
Great! I will keep an eye out. Thank you!
Yay!
woo!! ;)
The screen is blured.
