As an angler all my life, i appreciate what you and others like Tom Bagnall, GG and Wayne Hand to mention just a few do for us armchair anglers. growing up, we only really had Wilson, Hayes and a few others but they were all freshwater with the oddd foray into UK sea fishing. Now us sea anglers are spoilt for choice with you guys at veals and others. Keep it up dude.
Liking the comparison to other rod producers. Have a pair of Fireblades GT's at 14 and like them a lot and hearing that they will handle 10oz and bait with a carbon tip might make me want to part with my Kompressor SS's. Nice video.
Funny as was looking for reviews on Akios rods just last night..( creed and GTR) As looking for replacements for my centurys..as had enough of their shyte spiggots. That CBR looks ideal
Hi Dean great rod but a potential controversial question, how does it compare to a T900 as looking to up grade my current zipplex t zeros. On the south coast we rarely go above 6 oz casting weight so what ya reckon. I used to 230 regularly on grass so fishing range is about 130 -150 max depending on conditions etc. Still hooked on the T900 is this your choice?
Hi mate, no rod in the world comes close to the t900 in my eyes, but if the 900 wasn't avaliable I'd be happy using this akois rod, very powerful with amazing tip for fishing
It was a prototype travel beach rod that failed during the EOBC. An over zealous tip pull down by one of the testing team killed it 🫣 though modifications are underway 😎

If you want power above the GTR, this is not it. I have tried both and if you rate GTR for mixed to rough ground, the CBR is clean to mixed ground.

Nothing beats the t900 😊
This is a hybrid carbon tip, super thin tad stiffer than the GTR tip.
420 is a little under 14ft!! 😂
