I have had this machine for 6 months now and I am blown away by it - the most amazing machine I have ever used. The various dec. stitches and techniques on this baby are not duplicated on any other brand. Just love my PFAFF Performance ICON.
So happy for your gift! this is my dream machine! Hopefully soon! can't wait to see more of your videos regarding this machine!!!!! Sending love from Edmonton,Alberta, Canada!💕💕
Hi Nancy What a lovely machine, lucky you. Due to my passion for bag making using quilted fabric, I found my usual modern machine did not have the strength to go through the many layers. This is the reason I began to purchase vintage sewing machines as I did not want to buy an industrial machine. Getting to the point finally! I have recently purchased a Pfaff 262, and what a fantastic machine it is too. Over engineered of course, but the amount of things it is capable of doing is amazing. Yes I would love your machine, and am quite envious of it. For now though, I will amuse myself with my machine. Regards, Alison. Ps. Due to you I am now transferring my interest to quilt making. As soon as my machine comes back on Monday from the service man, I will begin my first quilt - a pineapple block quilt! I do not like an easy life. LOL. Please keep generating your fantastic tutorials, I have and am learning so much, thank you again. X
Hi Alison - it’s great to here. My first Pfaff was 30 years ago and have always been so happy with them. I have the privilege of of working part time and teaching at the Pfaff dealer in Grand Rapids - Smith-Owen Sewing. They are fabulous people and always giving mea great deal 😉. I am Blessed in so many ways 😊
OnPoint-TV You are blessed Nancy because you are a huge giver, not a taker. I love your kindness to those around you; you are always smiling, and happiness exudes from you; your love of passing on tips and techniques which you have thought out yourself to get around problems; I especially love the way you laugh off your little errors! I am becoming an enormous fan, even though I keep spending my roof money on your suggestions, LOL! When my home in Spain is completed, you and your husband must visit, to recharge your batteries. Kind Regards Alison. X
Congrats on your new machine! I bought the same machine a couple months ago. I have sewn on Bernina’s for 25 years. This is my first Pfaff. I absolutely love it!
😍😍😍😍😍😍 Ohhhh Nancy I’m soooooo green with envy...I am actually in the process of replacing my 21 year old 7510 Pfaff ...and I’m thinking of getting the Performance 5.2 ...but I would absolutely love love to have Icon but it’s out of my price range. So I will have a great deal of enjoyment watching you use yours 😃😘
Amazing machine and am happy for you. For me, it too is out of my price range. I have ordered the Performance 5.2 also and am waiting for its arrival. I am in Spain and because of the new Performance Icon coming out and prices dropping for the Performance 5.2, they have become difficult to find. I always had a Singer so this will be my first Pfaff and I also so excited to get it. A Christmas present from my husband. ;-)
misottovoce ...you are going to fall in love with your Pfaff . I also have a Bernina embroidery machine but my Pfaff is my favourite. Merry Christmas 🎄 from New Zealand
Mine is 3.0, upgraded from my Elna 6003. Had to buy all New feet, bobbins etc as none of mine fitted. After sewing with it for a year I prefer my old Elna!
Sometimes newer isn't always better, is it? This new one had some issues and had to go back to the store to be fixed but it is working okay now. Thank you for watching and commenting! Hope you have a happy new year and make lots of quilts. :)
Oh, I’m so jealous, but if I had one of those machines I’d never be able to take it along to retreats and my weekly bees. Looks heavy! I love my Pfaff Quilter’s Expression 4.0. It has everything I need. Someday I will upgrade. Is the bobbin bigger than the Pfaff ones I have for my machine?
Nancy: good video!!! Why is there blue tape on the white hand wheel??? Love my 3.5 but woefully underpowered. My accountant says I can write-off another machine so maybe I'll trade the 3.5.
I would really like more videos on how to do certain things like precise positioning, how to use the computer interface how to store things on the cloud on your stick you know like you've never seen the machine before
Ciao vorrei sostituire la mia vecchia Elna 2000 con una pfaff capace di fare un po' di tutto (budget illimitato). Cosa mi consigliate? vale la pena la spesa per una performance od addirittura creative icon?
Hi Monica - I would say yes, I am so happy with my Icon, and I haven't touch the surface of what I can do - It is strong and fast, great lighting and wonderful quilting space, you won't be disappointed :)

Just wish these tutorials and reviews had better sound quality and volume :)

I love my Pfaff Quilter’s Expression 4.0. It has everything I need. Someday I will upgrade.
Is the bobbin bigger than the Pfaff ones I have for my machine?
Hi Mary ;) - yes, the bobbin on the Icon is 30% larger than the normal bobbins!!
Amazing! The makers are finally listening to our calls for bigger bobbins!
@@maryredick9894 cost you a bomb, believe me!
Tineke Williams , of that, I am SURE! It’ll just be in my dreams!
Nancy: good video!!! Why is there blue tape on the white hand wheel??? Love my 3.5 but woefully underpowered. My accountant says I can write-off another machine so maybe I'll trade the 3.5.
Hi Dennis - that's not blue tape, that just the beautiful teal colored wheel :)
Nancy

Awesome.
Please tell me does this machine have speed control ? Also, is it both for sewing and embroidery?
Hello, yes it has a speed control. The Performance Icon does not have embroidery, the Expression Icon does :)
Beautiful machine. A female must have designed this one that does a lot of sewing.😉
