Gotta admit that I was not really enthusiastic with this reveal but now that I have my two in hand I have completely changed my mind about this figure. Here are my thoughts on it: 1. The window box on this is nice but could use a cut-out file card which would make it more nostalgic/special. 2. The weapons are a little stiffer which is nice and you aren't lying about everything being a chore to get out of the plastic, Gnawgahyde was worse in my opinion but thankfully his accessories were so gummy it made it easier but still harder than this figure. 3. The Gatling gun casing was exactly like mine, the wheel falls off as soon as you separate it so there was never a cap. Thankfully my gun wasn't as warped as yours and the ammo can was a nice addition but Roadblock or Gung-Ho should be the only Joes holding this weapons but I will always leave it attached to the cycle so the ammo can will be basically fodder at this point. 4. The RAM Cycle was a personal favorite of mine as a kid so I pretty much like all of the ones released. Even though the green one is the most iconic, this one has to be my new favorite as I just like the darker color with the light brown/tan accents. 5. I try and stay away from including backpacks with my figures when posing them because the lack of paint apps but this one is great, I just wish Hasbro would continue to make backpacks this way instead of just one color for everything. 6. I could care less what Hasbro does with their weapons, I will always replace them with Gridiron Studios guns/weapons which are more realistic, sturdy and just add more to your figure. 7. The helmet is great but who is wasting their money trying to troop build this figure with how expensive he already is, I feel like this helmet is about as useless as the Steel Corps Troopers. I think this is where Valaverse outdoes Hasbro with their Steel Brigade figures. 8. Since I have to nostalgia for Shockwave since I never had him as a kid I kind of prefer this grey one even though he the shitty JoePro. The head sculpt is better on this figure, the vest is a better color in my opinion, no knee pads, no shin guards, and pinless above all, the other figure just cannot compete. Just add some shrink wrap tubing (between 5mm-7mm) to that ball joint and it should fix the head issue. Much better than using sticky tack. Great Review brother, love how in depth you go on each figure. You inspire me to do the same thing when I open mine and go through each individual piece instead of arming them up and placing them on display. Keep up the amazing work.
Awesome new take on shock and digging the color aesthetic of the ram and this Shock change up. I got mine yesterday too. It’s a paint getting those weapons out agreed. Awesome set at an awesome price. I had ordered a few of these off Walmart at that price, I use one of those bucks for an alternative Sgt Stalker too, he looks great in this with the drone controller etc. Great review
I noticed it yesterday with the shockwave I’m using in this version it didn’t snap when you put it on the pin. It doesn’t fly off either but it isn’t snug fitting like v1 Shock
Great review! Shockwave has always been my favorite Joe. I ordered 2 of these bad boys…One to play with and one to keep in box for display. I had the same issues of pulling the pieces out of the plastic. The sidecar came apart while trying to pull it out and the wheel just fell out. There is nothing holding that dude in there. Had to tinker around to get the Gatling gun to fit in the sidecar but I figured it out. Personally, I wish I didn’t have to take the ammo drum out, but it is what it is. As for the figure, my guy’s head doesn’t pop off easily like yours did. You must’ve gotten a faulty mold. I even tugged on my figure with a little more force and it stayed. The helmet is rad… a little loose, but ok. One thing that annoyed me is the flip down handle on the double barrel AR falls off very easily. I’ll to be very careful with that or it will get lost. For the cycle, it would have been cool if they gave the rear wheel some sort of suspension spring or some kind of action on the front shock, but I’m being picky at this point. I agree with you that the paint touches on it make it pop. Just found your channel and will subscribe. Great content! Thank you!
Great review. 👍😎 That LMG is indeed a real-world weapon. It's almost a 1:1 SIG XM250 NGSW-AR. 👍 As for the body breakdown, that's Scrap Iron's upper torso that was also reused for Airborne and the coming soon NightForce Rip Cord. 🙂
Where did you get that from? Tony Roberts, aka Analog Toys? Sorry, mate, but that‘s not a SIG MG 6.8. resp. an M250. It is a made up gun inspired by regular LMGs of the FN Minimi family, like the Mark 48.
@sunnyssundries I don't watch his videos, perhaos you do. My hands-on experience with the M250 is where I got it from. As I said almost, meaning there are differences hasbro took liberties in to avoid copyright problems.
@@Cages_Customs Every now and then to see if he gaslighted his audience again. And I was of the impression you’d be one of those. And sorry, but a fancy rail fore-end does not make an MG 6.8. I even doubt the Hasbro G.I.Joe team knows what an M250 is.
They may have changed the plastic used for the barrels. The wheel for the side car on the ram cycle has a pin that holds the wheel that popped off when you took it out.
Looks like everyone got their night force shockwave yesterday. Damn for the first time I got a figure the same time as you, and Bobby B. Yay! You didn’t lose the cap for the wheel on the side car. Unfortunately it Seems that’s the way they did the ram cycle this go round. Cut the cap out for cost, so they could put extra eye shadow on the figure lol.
@@jess2322 Oh yeah I hear you. I had to return the Crimson Guard two times due to damage from poor packaging. When the third showed up damaged because for the third time they used a bubble mailer they allowed me to keep it and gave me a refund. This one came better packed than my last Hasbro order that had damage.
I had no cap on the wheel. Almost lost it taking it out of the plastic the head on mine is good. No idea why yours is so loose. But my jinx unmasked head didn’t pop off but was supper loose.
Got mine today too. No issue with the head. I think the missing wheel cap is a money choice, no issue with its operation. Just gotta be careful when swapping out the “mini” gun. As far as the other weapons, I don’t think I’ll ever use anything but the machine pistol when posing this character.
Also, the plastic “bubble” jacked up my double-barreled M4 as well. I didn’t hate the windowless packaging, but I understand why others did. Still, Hasbro can do better with this.
Considering Shockwave is a cop why didnt they replace that bloody minigun with a sidecar? After taking the tigerforce duke and turning his ram into an adventure bike with some basic mods this bike has allot of potential. if hasbro modeed it some with things like side cars or drilling some holes in it to mount saddle bags and comms gear as a proper scout bike.
Got mine today and was disappointed to find the ab crunch and torso are very loose. Almost Firefly loose. No problems with the head staying on but there’s hardly any range of motion. And I was not expecting the helmet to be an actual helmet. I figured it would be just another head sculpt like what came with Grunt. It does not stay on well by itself and needs a mound of sticky tack to keep it on. Love the arms and legs and the bike is great but I ordered another one to see if I can get a better figure.
The Gatling gun on this is so rubbery his can barely turn the other ones are hard plastic like the bike and box it goes in. The classified line has got all around incredibly cheap compared to the original stuff and the wheel is just free floating there is no cap to hold it in place ……just another cost cutting measure and cheapening of the line
Well I think that the part for the wheel was a miss, not cheapening. How that get omitted I have no clue. I can’t disagree with anything about the mini gun, it’s just rubber now.
Hey Punk! How do you feel about Shockwaves eyes? It's the only thing that really bothers me about the figure. I just wish the shadowing wasn't so heavy. The head on mine had zero issues. Awesome review as usual!
I'm looking for advice from you or your fans. I've been collecting Classified action figures for a year now, and it's the only modern action figure line I collect, so I'm pretty new to this. Does anyone know of anything that can be sprayed or painted on these gummy weapons to make them harder?
I was so excited when You finaly noticed the arms are different, like the ball finaly hit the corner on screen saver, I think he is made of Retro duke lower body, and the upper body and arms ,is the scrapiron/airborn, Head and overlays are from blue shockwave, try flipping the ballpeg, My head goes on and off with a nice pop, so looks like a Qc, and not a designed flaw, Anyway great review as always! I like to use a little piece of self grip athletic tape on the ballpeg, when I have a small peg, to give a better fit on custom heads with out making permenant changes, or getting anthing sticky on the figure. I hope thats only loose head out there.
@@Apunkwithtoys the funny thing is, I had to watch your video to realize what the deal is with the gun. I bought the other bikes, but they didn’t have the ammo canister on it and I wasn’t sure it actually came off! Thanks for your video. I figured it out!
Sucks to see you got a crappier figure. My figure has no issues what so ever (other than his left leg being a little stiff and right being more loose, idc). I mainly got him for the bike and helmet and the colors are just cool to me
I'm also annoyed by the plastic packaging, ugh! The sidecar wheel also popped off while taking it out. The head on my figure is on tight even while holding onto it and shaking the rest of the body. The R/C for the drone doesn't snap on tight anymore/ Great figure, great review.
Good review! I received all 3 of mine from Walmart this morning in a Hasbro shipper box…..which I’m very happy about….for one, it really kept the three boxes in great shape and the other thing, I save my open boxes and it will allow me to use that big Hasbro shipper box to store quite a few, so that’s a plus. I’ve only opened one so far and I love mostly everything about it, I like the darker colors anyway, but I do really like the OG Shockwave and I already was a fan of the Night Force sub team so I love the look. The head on the first figure I opened wasn’t loose but the only negative was his helmet is kinda loose like this one just reviewed. I know I can come up with something to put on his head to keep the helmet a bit tighter. I have an extra pair of goggles or something I can use to keep it on better.
@@Apunkwithtoys there’s got to be someone else also? In my extra weapons I got like 4 extra of each one. Like you said there specialty weapons would have been nice to have thrown in just a M16 or a AK …..just a nit pick

I pre-ordered three from Walmart and paid full price. I saw the sale after they shipped. I called Walmart and they didn’t want to do anything. I had to buy three more online and return the ones I just got. Waste of my time.
Usually Walmart will auto adjust it for you. But in with you that it’s a waste of time and even worse that they didn’t want to help, but that is Walmart for you.
