So educating and thanks for the knowledge shared. I just started my fish farm last week, I built 3ponds & stock with 2 while 3rd pond is for sorting. I stock 2ponds with 3200frys. However, I listened to farm lady tutorial about using Margots as an alternative sources of feeding which she said is very high in protein. How effective is this techniques on the fish, and how can it save cost kindly explain better on this. Thank you

You can give them any animal multivitamin from the animal store.
In aquaculture production, the most cost effective and commonly used method to deliver antibiotics or any drug is orally by mixing them into their feed.

Why Can we African not come out with a feed formula that will work the same as the imported one's and why do we always call our feed local feed and give more priority to the imported feeds

The name Local feed isn't bad it's just basically to differentiate if a feed produced in Nigeria gets to the US it becomes Imported feed.
We have great feed formulated here in Africa but there are a whole lot we can't control. The cost of these fees ingredients are high.
If we are to produce based on the price of these ingredients it most times is more expensive than the so called imported feed.
The feed will be very expensive thereby increasing the cost of production leaving you most times at deficit.
But I believe we are a work in progress.
Just like we have good poultry feeds, the Aquaculture sector in Africa will get there with more involvement from people and collaboration
