I just finally got some hobby grade trucks after two years of RUclips RC video research, lol. I have to tell you that you have been one of my go to guy's when I need to learn how to fix something on my trucks.I really like the way you teach and can explain things thoroughly and I've learned alot from you and a few others and I really appreciate that. I now have been able to keep my fleet of 6 Arrma trucks rolling. Thanks for doing what you do, and like you're saying, I've been trying to help others along the way. Bash on,AJ!!!
You going to give the drivetrain a little love? 🙂 I usually break everything down, check bearings, diffs, etc every spring or so. this year I came across a few sheared diff pins, failed seals, and so on.. as per usual, excellent video!😁
All good points. In the field, with no access to spare parts, shaving the spindle does work. Keep in mind, this is a “in a pinch to keep running” kind of thing 😎👍
Thinking about getting one of these, but I keep seeing videos where gravel gets in the chassis and blocks the steering arm. Seems like it would be annoying to have to keep turning the truck upside down to shake all the rocks out of it.
What are your thoughts on the granite and the platform in general? I know the slipper clutch is not good, maybe a dealbreaker? I have a rival mt10 and think that's a better platform, metal diffs etc. Not sure if it's worth the money and it's also due for an update.
The Granite has its charms. The MT10 also rocks but I believe it is possible to install the center diff but that would be costly. The MT10 requires Minimal upgrading. Personally I love running both models. 😎👍

Yes. We are😎👍
Hey AJ! The Arrma metal spur requires 4 pads. Maybe the HR spur works best with 4 pads too. Looking forward to the refreshed Granite
The hot racing one only requires 3. The one from arrma requires 4 because
it’s from the 4s models
@@ericawestbrook9410 this Hot Racing spur is the 4s capable version so 4 pads would be needed

The problem really shows when running in gravel. Most times it isn’t much of a problem. 👍
The steel gear requires 4 pads instead of three. Filing it I'm sure worked the same way.
The servo isn’t coming up? Link is not working.

🤔👍👍💯
Wondering what servo it is since I am not seeing the link. I know from past videos I think it's the hex fly but not sure.
It is linked now.
Link isn’t working? Can please relist it?
Awesome Vid AJ...💯 I usually just add an extra pad on the slipper, and that fixes that issue...👍🏼 Granite sure is a little stunt beast.😈🔥🛻💨💨
