"Dog Bone Doors" - the reason for the circular sections in the corners of the door openings is to avoid cracks when the ship hull moves and flexes. A normal corner acts as a point of stress concentration and can initiate cracks. Another awsome video - can't wait for the next one. Not tried Cunard yet but this series of videos is really making us want to book Queen Anne.
Ohhh thanks for that - good to know 😀 Glad you enjoyed. We’re pleased how this one turned out. We like Cunard and QA is a great ship, do consider trying it!
You were so blessed with such beautiful weather. What amazing scenery and so right to make the most of it by having a buffet dinner. Well done, another fun episode.
Love your videos as usual. They really are the best. Queen Ann looks absolutely amazing. We will definitely sail on her one day. As for Norway, you just experience the most beautiful scenery . Looks like you've had an amazing time. X
Flam looks amazing, can’t wait to visit on Britannia in September. Booked the Twizzy for the morning & the train for the afternoon. Just need to squeeze in a flight of beer 😂
Wow guys. I’ve watched so many of your videos. This one is probably your best, superb location, fantastic ship and video well made. - thanks for sharing.
Great video as always, so much fun and I loved you scurrying through the Grand Lobby 😂 Those Twizy cars looked great, thanks for sharing your adventures and all the best to you both.
Flam is beautiful , I’ve been there twice now. Your Twizzy looked a lot of fun. Amazing scenery. I don’t normally like the buffet, but Artisans was really good.
It sure is a stunning port! The Twizzy was so much fun, they guarantee a smile and there were lots of them! Yeah, Cunard have done a really good job with their food hall! The wellness cafe and poolside grill are fab too!
Love the Aegir Brewhouse, back in Norway next May. Meanwhile booked a 12 night cruise end of October to the beginning of November, back on Ventura. Thanks a lot lads, looking forward to the next instalment.
Thanks for another great video, you had the good fortune of lovely weather again, and a beautiful view from the top. That fire pit must be amazing during the colder days, did Luke try to smuggle that big glass back for use at home?
Hi guys x absolutely loved this vlog of Flam , amazing scenery And love the swizzy cars I seen them in Hellesyllt the other week look fun , will get there one day 😊
Watched it boys I am in Flam in 2026 on Iona never been in flam yet it seen anther amazing place The car you both did do you need a driving licence to drive on them I will be watching your vlog 5 later can’t wait to watch that one
Cheers matey! Yes, you need a full driving licence for the car. We’re back there next month and doing the train, many say it’s brilliant so that’s an option if you don’t drive. There’s also lots of walks in the area 😀
Scenery is stunning but no way in heck could use the sardine can on wheels Gorgeous views though it deserves to be repeated ❤ I think those twizzies are in Vegas too😂
What a fun mode of transport, do you need a car or motorlicence for it? I pr3sume thr latet since it has seatbelts. This was a very nice vlog and good to know there is brewpub near the ships and it looks they have a good selection.
It was super fun, they guarantee a snip and there was lots! Yes, you on their website is says ordinary licence for cars 👍 very easy to drive. The pub is a fab little venue!
It’s fab! We are looking to but can’t get hold of any as the place we got them has said they’ll have no stock for 8 weeks 😔 when we can get some we will add them to the shop!
Not sure how they work out preference, possibly as silver sea is smaller tendering is more efficient or possibly Cunard ‘aka carnival’ have preference due to amount they are there? Good question 👍
We’ve thought about this but we have microphone dead battery anxiety and would need something that doesn’t increase the phone size (all filmed and edited on a iPhone)
We really don’t want to be lugging mics around or worrying about charging them etc, plus they require a receiver on the iPhone we use, which will bulk it up from what we’ve seen when we last looked at some. We film and edit everything on a iPhone so want to keep it as easy to point and shoot video worry free of having a mic.
This is nonsense! The sound quality isn’t terrible at all; only ever affected if it’s windy, and certainly not on this video. The guys do a great job filming and editing their content ❤
@terryleaman3038 - We do watch their videos as we know them well. They have some top quality filming! Andy loves his tech, he doesn’t film with just an iPhone like us but instead various cameras, microphones and editing software, a far more advanced setup than ours. Take a look here at what he uses: www.andyandkirstie.com/gear As we said, we do everything on our iphone as we want the convenience, and don’t want to carry larger cameras or other equipment around with us on our holidays.
@@CruiseMonkeys I agree with Tinkerbella the quality of your videos, this one included, is consistently good and you’re so watchable because you actively set out to have a good time, are always appreciative of everything and never strike a snide or superior attitude. Keep up the good work.

Fjords are so beautiful and the ship is beautiful ❤

You are a going to love it! There should be time, we’ll be off the train and to the pub! Only a few steps from the ship so all good!
Wow guys. I’ve watched so many of your videos. This one is probably your best, superb location, fantastic ship and video well made. - thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed! Hahaha, yeah, didn’t want to upset anyone seeing us in swimwear! 🤣
Fab video. I've done driving thru the alps on similar roads...perilous thing I've ever done!
Thank you! Yeah, were used to narrow roads here, but these were something else with the drop!
I can see why it took so much time editing Luke, what a fab mega vlog that was 😃. Fantastic scenery and the Twizy trip looked a lot of fun ❤🚙🚢
Thank you, it’s definitely a labour of love this one! The Twizy was amazing fun!

Stunning isn’t it! We were very lucky with the weather!
Absolutely fab was there its beautiful thanks for sharing. Grt video
Flåm is stunning! Thank you 🤩
We really enjoyed Flåm. We did the railway up to the falls and the Viking Village. It’s such a beautiful spot.
It’s a beautiful port isn’t it?! We did the train in September when we were back there with our group 😀
Another brilliant vlog guys. Looking forward to next Friday 😁

Awesome vlog guys! I love the longer format.
Awesome! Thank you! 🤩
Was looking forward to this one and you didn’t disappoint 👍 best one so far 🇳🇴❤️
Thank you, great to hear ❤️
Brilliant vlog. Really looking forward to the next installment. I certainly wouldn't be able to get into the rear seat in a twizzy.
Glad to hear you enjoyed! I was a mission getting in and out, nothing graceful 🤣
Love the Aegir Brewhouse, back in Norway next May. Meanwhile booked a 12 night cruise end of October to the beginning of November, back on Ventura. Thanks a lot lads, looking forward to the next instalment.
It’s a wonderful place for a beer!
Ohhhh fantastic!! Enjoy Ventura!
Thanks for another great video, you had the good fortune of lovely weather again, and a beautiful view from the top. That fire pit must be amazing during the colder days, did Luke try to smuggle that big glass back for use at home?
Glad you enjoyed it! We were very lucky! :) Yeah, could imagine it being nice and cozy in there - hahaha, no we didn't snuggle that glass back!
Flam is beautiful. Would love to go to the viewpoint and we seemingly need to go back as we didn’t have time to go to the pub!
It sure is and yes, you really need to and a visit to the brewpub is a must!
Absolutely love Flam went a few years ago we also went in the Brewpub loved it xx
It’s stunning!
We rented a twizzy in Geiranger 2 weeks ago. So fun! Great memories
Ohh fab, will look out for them there if we end up back there in the future. Great fun!
Thank you for sharing your experience
Our pleasure!
I'm sure neither of us could fit in the back of that Twizzy maybe we could sit on the roof . Another great vlog
It’s getting out of it that’s a struggle 🤣 glad you enjoyed! 🙏
A great cruise - fabulous weather, fabulous ship and great to meet you guys.
Awwww thank you 🥰

Great vlog did Norwegian Floyd's last year flam was my favorite.
It’s a fabulous port! Thank you!
OK, now I really want to try QA, looks like a great ship.
It’s a stunner!
Awww brought back so many lovely memories of the cars and you had gorgeous weather too. Did you see the toilet at the top?
Glad to hear! We can’t wait to go back. Just the gents toilet block…. Which didn’t have the view :( probably why it was empty 😂
Were you there in July? We were there last August and didn’t have that kind of weather. It’s so beautiful there. Going again next year.
We left on the 23rd of June, 7 nights. We were in Norway last July too, so wet compared!
Of all the places we have cruised Flam is our favorite.
Train up the mountain and ride bicycles back down.
Next time we are going to go Twizzy
It’s up there as one of our faves too now! We’re back next month and have the train booked 😀
Watched it boys

@@CruiseMonkeys thank you 🙂
What month did you travel. It looks fabulous xx
This was the end of June this year, it was amazing weather
Do we put "death by Twizy" on the bucket list? I had an uncle who used to have a Bubble car at the time i was small enough to get in to it
Hahahaha! These were ok getting in, it’s the getting out 🤣
Was Silver Seas so much bigger that she has to tender QA is a big ship, not crazy cruise size but thought Silver Sea was more upscale than Cunard???
Not sure how they work out preference, possibly as silver sea is smaller tendering is more efficient or possibly Cunard ‘aka carnival’ have preference due to amount they are there? Good question 👍
Hi both,
Great tour around those bends ! Great scenery, lucky with weather to see Flam at its best 😊
Luke bless you cant get out of car....
So funny to watch 🤣🥰
@@CruiseMonkeys yes I was laughing 😆
