I think this episode is totally underrated. Hera went dark, Wedge was awesome, and Chopper and Ap-5 have the best Droid bromance since R2 and Threepio.
there's always a droid filler just before pure awesomeness, remember that D-Squad arc before Mauls Mandalore takeover in Clone Wars, Dave Filoni prepares us for the best.
And people complain about Rebels, the D-Squad arc was pretty awful and that was what ... 4 episodes long? But yeah, Filoni knows what he is doing, you'd think the fans would trust him after so long.
Good old Colonel Meebur Gascon. I remember those episodes. TCW was amazing but those were definitely the hardest episodes I've ever had to sit through.
This was one of my favorite episodes. I loved the jokes... the series gets sad and depressed when it's just sad all the time. The singing part was very unexpected but hilarious.
Although this episode will inevitably receive hate since it's a droid-centered episode, I enjoyed it! That being said, Twin Suns looks like it's gonna be a whole lot better!
Sceptile Tube not from kenobi it has to be from Sidious besides Maul ent gonna try n kill Obi Wan seein as he dont intend to like in CW he wanted Obi Wan to suffer as he had suffered at his hands as well as the Sith n maybe Maul is jus seekin a rematch cuz i reckon Maul will survive his duel with Obi Wan cuz of Ezra intervening n Obi Wan is injured explainin y hes weak in A New Hope and he then sets off the beacon revealling Chopper Base to Thrawn n in Season 4 Maul may n try to regain power so he can draw out Vader and Sidious so he can have a final confrotation and take his revenge on Sidious for castin him aside and mudering his bruva n mother
I like how Dave filoni knows when something is filler. It was filler for the most part, but it was a great episode. With shows like TWD and this, you gotta have filler cause there's more happening then just the story at hand

I absolutely loved the Annie Get Your Gun reference in the very beginning, when Chopper and AP-5 are arguing. It is brilliant. It makes you wonder what other references are made that just go right over your head

Also I loved the singing joke they made with AP-5 even though I know some people are gonna complain saying Disney did it even though it has been cleared up that Disney has no interference in the actual creation of the show. That was all Lucas films idea to put that scene in and stop acting like children it's their show let them do what they want with it. Great episode as always Star Wars rebels crew 👍.

For once Ezra doesn’t carry his lightsaber. There is no way Wedge can say to Luke in about a year from that point. You are not the first Jedi trainee I’ve met. Ezra didn’t have to be there in the first place.
This episode is perhaps not my favorite, but it definitely had its moments. The main thing I liked was that we got to see a bit of bonding between the crew. Ezra and Zeb hanging out, everyone genuinely worried about Chopper near the end and AP-5 getting some well-deserved praise and recognition.
+Mike Guy Its ratings were not so good with kids, aka the target demographic who buy toys. TCW was NEVER turning a satisfactory profit on ratings alone (And may have been running an outright *Loss* it was intended to keep SW in the public mind and keep toys selling, hence George putting not just a lot of Lucasfilm money but his own personal fortune into it. Now Rebels is sharing budget with the actual new movies.

Their is this really cool element in the universe of Star Wars. Its called the FORCE. It allows Jedi to open and close doors at any moments notice. And if that fails they have an energy sword called a Lightsaber that can cut through nearly everything. Yet in this episode, a Jedi is about as useful as a powered down mouse droid.

I think Maul will survive his fight with Kenobi, it would be a disservice to the Ezra turning to the dark side arc, plus I really want to see Maul vs Vader! I just realized we haven't seen Vader once this season, maybe he will be the main villain next season.

No he's accepting the fact that the audience refuses to see the significance in anything that doesn't revolve around Maul, Thrawn, or Vader. To be frank, he's given up and decided to have some fun with it, a decision that was predictably hated by the audience.
Half the audience is unpleaseable. No matter what he does, they will still find something to whine and complain about. They outright look for things to complain about, even if it's the absolute tiniest detail.
