She slayed in the first season as the real Naksu. Her fight with Park Jin and his people was epic. Then as Mudeok she didn’t get much action scenes so I hope she gets more epic fight scenes in season two! We need Naksu and her assassin mode back!

I guess for production reasons they chose the scenario that could quickly end the drama .It took two years to film it and they weren't ready to spend more budget on it bringing back Naksu the assassin to surface would have necessitate much more elaborate work and graphics and episodes but in my opinion they could do a sequel for the character naksu that depicts her earlier life that would be interesting too
I understand why Naksu/ Cho-Yeong wouldn't want to ever fight again since she was abused and used as an assassin while being completely fooled. She was reborn with divine powers and doesn't need her sword anymore or be as independent (lonely and on her own). Perhaps in season 3 she will have a more balanced relationship with fighting where it comes from her will and no one elses, but in season 2, it's completely understandable to me.
So there is a season 3 if so I would like the writers to give Naksu all her credits She deserve more and more She is the strongest mages she train the king star by herself and she save all the village in season 1 remember she refused to use the ice 🧊 power for her own she rather choose to save the village

somin can act extremely hilarious funny but she knows herself that she is not cute anymore as she's 30 now ofcourse she's extremely cutest in playful kiss. she tried to act cute aegyo with jang uk but failed and looked funny ,yes to some eyes it looks cute even now. alchemy souls is not just naksu but its a combo of mudeok (clumsy hardworking smart maid )naksu(powerful tansu martial art cold hearted assasin) and buyeon (extremely curious, cute friendly, innocent with inherited powers ) , so 2 actress are needed to justify all 3 roles.
For the first time the assassin character love by the all viewers 😂 well the drama is all about the female assassin as it talks😂 but she is very beautiful to be an assassin 😍

both jungsomin and go yoojung are stunning with action scenes,somin is veteran but yoojung is young ,but she slayed in just few scenes in s1. its just somin can act anything thats why she is rememembered as mudeok well, but in last ep in s1, she looked so dangerous frightening coldblooded pysco as naksu which again goes to her credit that she can act in negative role too.

I was so impressed with Naksu pre-soul switch in first season but I felt as if they were different actresses when GYJ took the character back in Season 2.
If I am one of people in Daeho, I wouldn't know that Naksu and Jin Bu Yeon have the same face 😂 honestly, she looks different plus different aura and body. Jin Mu said that Naksu is taller and bigger than Jin Bu Yeon, also the aura is calmer. I wish Naksu can heal Yul from the worm parasite and be able to help Jang Uk from the wraiths.
I think in the upcoming episode, I think naksu (buyeon) is the one who will heal seo yul. As we saw in the trailer for ep 5, Seo Yul asked Naksu (Buyeon) to heal him.
Absolutely amazing series. For me personally, I liked Naksu from the first season more. When you see the second season, you can understand why she couldn't play both as the same person. If anyone hasn't seen Alchemy of Souls yet, I highly recommend it.

Não sei se sabiam mas ambos choraram na cena do casamento durante o ensaio, o beijo do casal ficou para história sendo um dos mais sensuais dos Doramas, na realidade foi um beijo suculento , delicioso lindo. As nice as it was to watch this video clip; it was not about Naksu’s transformation. In fact Naksu’s transformation has been consistently mishandled from the very first episode. The producers must have run out of money. At no point do we see the transformation take place where Naksu morphs into Mu-Deok or Mu-Deok into Naksu/Bu Yeon. That was a glaring omission. Then there is the young Naksu who does not look like the older Naksu in the least. A close up of the real Naksu’s ear should have been used as a common identifier for all three actresses using lighting to match skin tones. Then we have the failure to recognize Naksu. That is more impossible than all of the magic throughout the series. Park Jin should have recognized Naksu instantly. He fought her face to face. You don’t forget your opponent after a fight like that. Your opponent’s image is engraved in your mind forever. There is no explaining that one. I personally had a similar experience. Recognition was instantaneous with a time lapse of a millionth of a second after a thirty year separation. That was just the girl who sat next to me in grade 4 when I was 9. I met her again when I was 40. I’ve done that a lot. You don’t stay alive for long as a warrior without such skills and Park Jin was the best of that era, so his ability to recognize a foe would have had 😊😊 2:02 to be supernatural. But his was not - he was asleep at the switch on numerous occasions.😮 all day could not have kept the peace. His nephew was even worse. He is a kind hearted idiot who can’t make a decision but somehow we are told he’s a good businessman. You cannot be a good businessman without being decisive and in possession 😅of good vision. By that I mean the ability to anticipate or see the future. In that sense, only Mu-Deok/Naksu is on the ball. And that’s where we encounter the last transformation omission. Mu-Deok acquires social skills at light speed that could not have happened at all while growing up alone in a river valley with rocks for company. Bu Yeon was no better off growing up in a hovel. In her younger years as a blind little girl, she would not have had the opportunity to acquire social skills expected of adults. Being a prisoner for 3 years while she recovered from her mother’s attempt to kill her would have been mind altering as well. We see no sign of that. Her own mother failing to recognize Mu-Deok/Bu Yeon was preposterous. Ear shape alone would have told that tale. But there were other things too. What mother does not recognize the smell of her baby? Your smell doesn’t change when the food supply remains constant. In that time there was no enough difference between what the poor and rich ate to alter Mu-Deok’s body odour as an adult. It would have been unmistakeable when Bu Yeon’s mother caught her in her own bedroom. Then there is hand shape. Hands are distinctive and different - unique like fingerprints. Her mother and sister should have recognized her hands. Jang Uk did almost instantly but didn’t believe it. That was understandable. There is a complete absence of sex in this series that is at least 10 episodes too short and almost no nudity of any useful description. Everyone slept in their clothes. Another recognition identifier I almost forgot was Naksu’s facial expressions. From episode 21 on, we see interesting lip movements by Naksu that are not duplicated by Bu Yeon or Mu-Deok. When Mu-Deok isn’t scowling, she has a straight face until she tries to force herself to look cheerful. It looks artificial and that is intentional. But when Naksu looks happy, she glows with good cheer that is something completely new. So we know that one of the things erased during her healing was her perennial aura of pessimism. Naksu, the new is an optimist without foundation. That must change when her memories return. How she retains her sanity when her memories return with the understanding that she’s been played in every way possible, even by Seo Yul unintentionally, is stuff for the psycho ward which is why another ten episodes are required to properly address the crimes that have been committed against her. To show us over 30 episodes a series of crimes committed against a little girl, who then has to deal with a love interest who doesn’t believe her, and wrap that up in 10 minutes at the very end seems like another crime committed against her. This time, gross negligence by the Hong sisters and whoever the producers are holding the purse strings. A similar thing happened with the La Niña series. That one was 86 episodes long and 86 episodes too short. So abbreviated that I wrote my own Season 2 to find out how it ended. If that happens here, I’ll do the same thing. Ending a series in a slap dash fashion may be a great cost cutting solution but it leaves the view in the lurch. The sad thing is that me writing the next season doesn’t help anyone else and in my experience, the owners of the rights aren’t interested in finishing the stories properly. In the case of La Niña, that series was socially significant on a global scale because it offered hope to other countries enmeshed in civil war. What happened was that in the end, Colombian voters rejected the plan that was successfully ending the longest civil war in human history, for a return to unending civil war. Now no one is safe in that country. It was a disaster of unthinkable proportions. Season 2 could have shown a way out but they left it too long.
True. Like it always bothered me that though Naksu would feel different in Mu deok body mudeok doesn't seem like assassin naksu AT ALL. It's like the writers just wanted Jung so min at any cost amd completely forgot the original personality of Naksu. They just wanted to write a cute and bubbly character of Mu deok and that's annoying.

A luta contra um inimigo não faz vc focar em traços característicos do rosto, coisa que precisa convívio e tempo. Tudo argumentos de quem só quer falar mal do seriado, existem argumentos bons e razoáveis que citam as verdadeiras falhas do filme.
Wished they could CGI the original fighting naksu to be a bigger woman there was so much CGI anyway in that whole fighting scene.. or Shoot with smaller enemy men actors.. maybe got a taller bigger girl actresses to be the young Naksu and child naksu... they keop saying that mudok was small and weak. and the new buyoung looks like her but more petite ..
The season two "Naksu" looks nothing like the one from season one episode 1. At least not to my european eyes. Couldn't they get that girl again? She was bad ass.

Mudeok's body was saved and cured by Master Lee. Mudeok's body is Buyeon's body. However, due to the fact that Naksu's soul is in Mudeok's body, this body took on the characteristics of her physical appearance. As for the last question, I have no idea. I hope I didn't mistake anything.
When I watched season 1 of the original non dubbed version, Naksu was played by a different actress. Season 2 now the dubbed version now has a different actress. Why?

This movie is something I can't fathom at all.. Mu deok is the real Jin Bu Yeon according to what was shown in season 1. Cause while switching souls, naksu had a switch with Jin Bu Yeon who happened to be Mu deok. Am baffled with the way Jin mu couldn't recognize Nasku as Jin Bu Yeon in season 2... So annoying and frustrating.. I love the movie tho. However, the way it's mixed is what I find head aching 😒😒😒😒

Hello! Jung so min didn't pretend as mudeok. She is actually Mudeok. By the time she was playing as mudeok, naksu's soul is inside her body so the one who's talking to everyone at that time is Naksu even though naksu and bu yeon is inside mudeok's body at that time. It's naksu's character and naksu's memories. The one we are watching right now as Jin bu yeon is still naksu. It's Jin bu yeon (mudeok) body, but the souls inside of her body is naksu again. They already get rid of mudeok (buyeon) soul. So right now what we have is Jin Bu Yeon/Mudeok body and the inside of that body is Naksu's soul. So in conclusion the characteristics of mudeok (naksu) played by jung so min and buyeon (naksu) played by go youn jung is the same 😊😊 Hope this helps!!

But his was not - he was asleep at the switch on numerous occasions.😮 all day could not have kept the peace. His nephew was even worse. He is a kind hearted idiot who can’t make a decision but somehow we are told he’s a good businessman. You cannot be a good businessman without being decisive and in possession 😅of good vision. By that I mean the ability to anticipate or see the future. In that sense, only Mu-Deok/Naksu is on the ball. And that’s where we encounter the last transformation omission.
Mu-Deok acquires social skills at light speed that could not have happened at all while growing up alone in a river valley with rocks for company. Bu Yeon was no better off growing up in a hovel. In her younger years as a blind little girl, she would not have had the opportunity to acquire social skills expected of adults. Being a prisoner for 3 years while she recovered from her mother’s attempt to kill her would have been mind altering as well. We see no sign of that.
Her own mother failing to recognize Mu-Deok/Bu Yeon was preposterous. Ear shape alone would have told that tale. But there were other things too. What mother does not recognize the smell of her baby? Your smell doesn’t change when the food supply remains constant. In that time there was no enough difference between what the poor and rich ate to alter Mu-Deok’s body odour as an adult. It would have been unmistakeable when Bu Yeon’s mother caught her in her own bedroom. Then there is hand shape. Hands are distinctive and different - unique like fingerprints. Her mother and sister should have recognized her hands. Jang Uk did almost instantly but didn’t believe it. That was understandable.
There is a complete absence of sex in this series that is at least 10 episodes too short and almost no nudity of any useful description. Everyone slept in their clothes.
Another recognition identifier I almost forgot was Naksu’s facial expressions. From episode 21 on, we see interesting lip movements by Naksu that are not duplicated by Bu Yeon or Mu-Deok. When Mu-Deok isn’t scowling, she has a straight face until she tries to force herself to look cheerful. It looks artificial and that is intentional. But when Naksu looks happy, she glows with good cheer that is something completely new. So we know that one of the things erased during her healing was her perennial aura of pessimism. Naksu, the new is an optimist without foundation. That must change when her memories return. How she retains her sanity when her memories return with the understanding that she’s been played in every way possible, even by Seo Yul unintentionally, is stuff for the psycho ward which is why another ten episodes are required to properly address the crimes that have been committed against her. To show us over 30 episodes a series of crimes committed against a little girl, who then has to deal with a love interest who doesn’t believe her, and wrap that up in 10 minutes at the very end seems like another crime committed against her. This time, gross negligence by the Hong sisters and whoever the producers are holding the purse strings.
A similar thing happened with the La Niña series. That one was 86 episodes long and 86 episodes too short. So abbreviated that I wrote my own Season 2 to find out how it ended. If that happens here, I’ll do the same thing. Ending a series in a slap dash fashion may be a great cost cutting solution but it leaves the view in the lurch. The sad thing is that me writing the next season doesn’t help anyone else and in my experience, the owners of the rights aren’t interested in finishing the stories properly. In the case of La Niña, that series was socially significant on a global scale because it offered hope to other countries enmeshed in civil war. What happened was that in the end, Colombian voters rejected the plan that was successfully ending the longest civil war in human history, for a return to unending civil war. Now no one is safe in that country. It was a disaster of unthinkable proportions. Season 2 could have shown a way out but they left it too long.
True. Like it always bothered me that though Naksu would feel different in Mu deok body mudeok doesn't seem like assassin naksu AT ALL. It's like the writers just wanted Jung so min at any cost amd completely forgot the original personality of Naksu. They just wanted to write a cute and bubbly character of Mu deok and that's annoying.
Quem reconhece uma mão? Eu não reconheceria minha filha por uma orelha ou pela mão, que argumentos mais sem fundamentos. Coreanos são muito parecidos. A luta contra um inimigo não faz vc focar em traços característicos do rosto, coisa que precisa convívio e tempo. Tudo argumentos de quem só quer falar mal do seriado, existem argumentos bons e razoáveis que citam as verdadeiras falhas do filme.

Wished they could CGI the original fighting naksu to be a bigger woman there was so much CGI anyway in that whole fighting scene.. or Shoot with smaller enemy men actors.. maybe got a taller bigger girl actresses to be the young Naksu and child naksu... they keop saying that mudok was small and weak. and the new buyoung looks like her but more petite ..

Mudeok's body was saved and cured by Master Lee. Mudeok's body is Buyeon's body. However, due to the fact that Naksu's soul is in Mudeok's body, this body took on the characteristics of her physical appearance. As for the last question, I have no idea. I hope I didn't mistake anything.

When I watched season 1 of the original non dubbed version, Naksu was played by a different actress. Season 2 now the dubbed version now has a different actress. Why?
They cant/don't change actresses just because it was dubbed. Both Naksu in season 1 (initial beginning episode) and throughout season 2 were both same person; Go Youn Jung

Mu deok is the real Jin Bu Yeon according to what was shown in season 1. Cause while switching souls, naksu had a switch with Jin Bu Yeon who happened to be Mu deok.
Am baffled with the way Jin mu couldn't recognize Nasku as Jin Bu Yeon in season 2...

Im confused with Naksu real character... if ur soul is Naksu then ur character must be Naksu...somin pretended as mudeok so she played silly n weak...then Naksu buyong?
Hello! Jung so min didn't pretend as mudeok. She is actually Mudeok. By the time she was playing as mudeok, naksu's soul is inside her body so the one who's talking to everyone at that time is Naksu even though naksu and bu yeon is inside mudeok's body at that time. It's naksu's character and naksu's memories. The one we are watching right now as Jin bu yeon is still naksu. It's Jin bu yeon (mudeok) body, but the souls inside of her body is naksu again. They already get rid of mudeok (buyeon) soul. So right now what we have is Jin Bu Yeon/Mudeok body and the inside of that body is Naksu's soul. So in conclusion the characteristics of mudeok (naksu) played by jung so min and buyeon (naksu) played by go youn jung is the same 😊😊 Hope this helps!!
