I dead ass thought my country was getting attacked or some shit.
POV: you play this at 3 AM and say, I think this would be cool to hear in real life! Well little did you know, you heard it overlapping, so you pause it. It kept going.. you live alone and no one was in ur house to play it. You look out the window and see a big flash of light. Before you can even react, your skin starts to melt and disintegrate.
You shout: “Oh goodness me! My skin is melting!” So you run away from the nuclear explosion and into the ocean, you made it alive, only with very slight burns and very slight radiation poisoning.
I have access to the speakers we have installed at my place of work that runs through all 3 floors of the building, and I'm fighting the urge to cast this over the speakers and just see what happens. Pray for me.
Out here in the Midwest, air raid sirens also double as tornado sirens. Every spring and summer, I'd hear these sirens wail their haunting melody, either as preparation for a whirlwind or warning that one is approaching.
You all know it is not all fun and games if you lived through the war. If you were living then this would have been very frightening especially if you were a Jewish person!!! In my New England hometown, this siren went off EVERY Friday at 11:am, and we had to file out of class, go down to the school basement, get down on our knees, face-down, hands covering the backs of our heads, sideways against the wall under the stairs. I didn't realize it at the time, but as the crow flies, we were about 6 miles from a Strategic Air Command base. There were always two nuclear-armed B-52's, circling high overhead, and two more, sitting on a runway, engines idling 24/7, crews standing by, all ready to fly to Russia at a moment's notice. In the event of a nuclear war, my city would have been one of the FIRST targets for an ICBM.
My home state used to test tornado sirens once a month on a Wednesday and It used to sound just like this. Every time it would go off it would be a *GODFUCKINGDAMNIT* moment at first untill I realized it’s just a test😂
