Quite a few people have said that the maps are bad even the new ones now available in the BF1 trial but honestly I think the problem is related to game mechanics and not map design. I've played on a lot worse maps.

it was a really smart move to give the support class the repair tool. Encourages a more well rounded team if the same guy who is the best anti armor isn't also the repair guy. BF4 if you weren't playing a map that got very congested like locker then the ammo bag just wasn't a crucial enough gadget for the team to make support a worthwhile class choice.
this game looks pretty good imo because of the immersive properties i'm seeing, like how i imagine the intensity of ww1 being, i feel like that was captured really well, like the explosions and gas going off around your character as you and your squad like defend a broken building, seems very different from the other bf games and kinda makes me forget all the small mistakes that are in the game rn
I've noticed that most people just use the medic /ammo pouches rather than the crates. Either people haven't unlocked the crate or its better to have mobile healing/ammo because of the fast paced nature of BF1.
Correct, multiple players teleported from the same spot visually. It's something that was in BF3 that I pointed out frequently in past videos where you would turn a corner and see a teammate or enemy teleport from off screen into a corner.
You're giving me hope that it's not totally useless to play support because I'm having a horrendous time with it. Especially with the Lewis gun, which seems incredibly inaccurate even in longer bursts. Then again, you're Ravic. :)
I doubt I'm going to be buying this game until it goes on sale for a decent price, so in the meantime I'll just be enjoying it vicariously through your videos!

What's to see in the end? It's not a glitch or teleportation but the video editing slowdown process that glitches out (Twixtor maybe). You can see the crosshair got the same glitch as he was turning. So regardless, what was there to see?

What are your thoughts on the skill-cap of this game? I often find it difficult to play games like Battlefront because I feel like there's only so much you can do with a given amount of skill in that game, whereas in Battlefield 4 it appears to be much higher since the gunplay is so much more in-depth. I played the BF1 Beta and it seemed to lean more towards Battlefront's gameplay than BF4, though I'm not quite sure how.

You can still kick ass on bf1 but I HATE the whole hero pick ups thing. A good fps should not enable a poor player to top the leader board simply because he's buffed to hell imo

I played mostley support in the trial and my favourite gun was the M1918 BAR Storm, it shreaded and I also used the scout and the M1903 Sniper was my fav for that class
I love how there is pretty much unlimited grenades for support considering how fast the refresh time is for them.. Wonder if they will balance or keep it how it is.
People commented on previous videos that they would address the same issue I showed in the beta with the gas grenades. You can still resupply grenades quite quickly so either it's the same build from the beta or they didn't actually "fix" it.
I suspect they are keeping it that way until the community feels it is a balancing issue. I have noticed the grenades do not resupply as quickly as in the beta but still provides support with one advantage over other classes currently.
I got pretty good at Battlefield by just doing what you do and ducking under people's bullets. I even learned how to slap fools around with my 1903 and do goofy stuff with gadgets. Miss that.

I don't understand the idea behind lmg's fire to get more accurate method. Because when you are starting to get accurate shots, the gun overheats/runs out of ammo..
"I don't think ShadowPlay does it justice" Sadly it's compression in general that kills this game, the compression that everything uses, especially RUclips throws a fit if there are a lot of small details combined with fast movements so as games look better, their videos get blurrier which is especially true of FPS games like this where you do a lot of quick, fast movements. You can get a slight improvement if you record and upload in 4k but even then it's only slight.
You could recording in 4k with ShadowPlay and it wouldn't make a difference. Still the same issues because it's using the same codec and encoding settings.
***** Fair enough, I'm not that familiar with Shadowplay as an AMD pleb. I just use a fork of Open Broadcaster with AMD VCE support and it works fine for me, supports the replay buffer and all.

Tank reload as fast as well with unlimited supplies. He's got a wrench it's for repair and he can destroy part with it....why not. Devon Santos but in the case of the lewis gun, the first shot has 100% accuracy so single shots at long range are better than holding down the trigger. In fact i think all LMGs have 100% first shot accuracy.
Devon Santos you are partly correct, but the guns in bf1 have first shot multiplier for spread increase. what this means for lmg's is their first shot is accurate than their second shot is innacurate and by their 5th bullet they are almost the same accuracy as the first bullet.
In the beta I managed to separate my character from his shadow. The shadow still mimicked the movements I was making and it was weird because I could see it.
so what do gas attacks in this game even do? you never seem to take any damage, you just start coughing and it takes like 2 steps to get out of the way

Saying that is like BC2 is a disrespect to a such an old and legendary game. This game is garbage compared to BC2 and maps are not even half as good as the one in BC2. Game may look beautiful but this is where it ends.

The key to firing an lmg in this game is they become more accurate the longer that you can sustain a single burst of fire

Moose6340 when you get enough war bonds, buy the 1909. It's a dream, and a lot better then the Lewis gun. Although the Lewis isn't bad either.

a good thing about bf1 is how exhausted some lines sound. it's always better than that levelcap screamin voice: look over there!

raw damage *may* be the same but the HS multiplier is lower so yes longer time to kill

they dumbed it down, LMG could have been balanced from high vertical recoil thats controllable but very hard to.
