  • Flew for the first time on EVA Airways in Premium Economy Class from San Francisco to Taipei (layover), and on Economy Class from Taipei to Clark Airport, Philippines. We chose Premium Economy for a bit more "breathing" room and comfort on the long flight from San Francisco to Taipei. Staff was very nice and we had a great flight experience. Flights were directly booked online through EVA Airways.
We reserved a rental car online through Hertz Philippines for the full duration of our stay. At the time of our visit, the Hertz counter was located outside the airport just as you exit the building. The person at the counter will contact their driver to bring the vehicle to the airport to "meet and greet" you. The driver will then bring you and your party to their office outside the airport but still within Clark Airbase to fill out proper paperwork for the rental. We requested an automatic four-door subcompact vehicle, and were given a 2019 Honda four-door subcompact sedan.

That winglet suggest it’a a Airbus 330. Twin isle and a GE engine translating cowl thrust reverser.

4:55 Based on the winglet, that's an A330 you're on.

Can one books a premium economy in one leg & economy in another leg of the same flight, like Toronto to Taipei is premium while Taipei - Manila is economy?

Yes. If you book through EVA Air, you can do this. We booked premium economy on the longer flight and economy on the shorter flight. The shorter flight in most cases is usually only economy because it is a smaller plane.

do the seats incline more for better rest?

Into the video at 2:50, you can see how much the seat fully reclines. We sat in the last row of the premium economy section. For us being 5'7 and 5'11, respectively, we were comfortable. My husband slept well, but I, on the other hand, am a light sleeper when flying and got a few hours rest.
