I own 2 of their kits which has 6 maxi's in a flight case in each. So 12 total. They also have a built in charging station in the flight case. Had them for about 8 months. Really enjoy the flexibility of them.
Hi Joey, got them a couple of days ago. Build quality looks really good. Feel pretty tough and could definitely manage someone tripping or walking on them without too much bother. Was a little dissappointed that you can't set rgb colours directly via the remote other than the limited colour set pre programmed. I guess I'll have to buy the wireless receiver and a dmx mixer or interface to set the gold colour I want. Other than that, I love them and will likely buy some more soon. Cheers.
Hey there! I'm thinkin' to buy a case of 6 Maxi..do you think it's ok to light up (for dance purpose, not ambience) a ballroom (weddings or other) nearly 100/150 square metres?
Hey Joey, great review. I'm looking at purchasing a set of these for ambient lighting (uplighting)...Specifically for weddings. Do you feel that that mini is strong enough to handle that work load or would you recommend going with the maxi? Appreciate your time!

I like the idea of them being wireless and sound active but that's steep for some par lights.
