Fighting a Shambler with this in the background was a straight up sanity check.
At 1:42 when the bells ring and progressively sound further away it's a nice touch, like you're sinking deeper and deeper getting further from the surface.

I imagine one of the heroes getting dragged underwater by the Pelagic desperately reaching out for help

i think the darkest dungeon is whats stuck with me for longest.
While not my favourite of the OST, I've always loved how this song makes you feel like you are fighting the ocean itself.

Could anyone tell me what is the difference of this with the regular cove music?
The "singing" in the background gets louder and the song gets overall more intense as with most of the torchless battle themes
More drums
More drums, the octave is dropped one, and the music basically becomes more suspenseful.
Violin starts playing instead of singing, everything is louder etc

Is the music different when you're out of a torch?
Yes, I believe the music becomes more intense the dimmer your torch gets.
