Great post! Did you figure out the issue with the trunk? Also, have you tried changing the reverse light to a brighter LED to improve visibility?

Thank you! And yeah I totally agree about the spoiler. Mine actually came with the car. I believe it was a dealer option that the previous owner got. So unfortunately I don’t know where to buy one like it from

@@ayyyman_ It ended up working fine i had to run the cords thru a different way but finally found a way that worked and hid them
Nice video dude. Has anyone done this on a f32 428i Gran coupe?? I already got the taillights but looks like the installation will be nothing like on a sedan, just my luck.
I’ve definitely seen one on a F36 at the Kies Auto Show but not sure if there’s a video tutorial out there. I can imagine it’s much different since the gran coupe has that hatch trunk

How did you end up routing the wires at 13:50? I'm thinking to drill hole in the car so I can route them cleanly
Did you have to do any programming? I can't change my bulbs to LED without the car throwing codes
Nope! No programming or coding. I’ve had them in for almost a week now and no warning lights so far

You do not need to code them for general use. I’m not sure how much they would normally cost to have installed but overall the process shouldn’t take more than an hour for someone with the right tools. Hopefully that helps!
Hey! Looking to buy a 428i xdrive that has 115k kms on it. Is that okay in terms of reliability or should I be looking for a car with less miles on it?
Hmm that’s about 70 miles or so. Mine is at 63k miles. It’s pretty solid. Definitely some stuff are known to go wrong like the expansion tank hose, charge pipe, etc. but nothing major in my opinion. But depends on how well they maintained it

Do they light up on daytime running lights?
So I actually made a separate video about how to code them to light up as daytime running lights. So it’s possible but it’s not like that by default

@@SherKing786 you do not need any coding to install these lights. Only coding to make them daytime running IF you choose to take that additional step. 350 seems pretty high to me personally. They should take about 30 minutes to an hour to install at most. They’re pretty easy. I installed mine myself

The website says it’s for the F32 and F33 so I don’t think so unfortunately. I did see an F36 with a set on so maybe there’s a way to make it work. Just can’t say for sure
