I had a friend that built a 7.5" number 12 ET&WNC live steam locomotive. No kit, just blueprints of original locomotive and know how. It was done in not quite two years. He had a heart attack and died when he was in his mid fifties and only got to enjoy it for about five years after completing it. I was in my early twenties and didn't have enough funds to purchase it from his wife and I have no clue who got it or where it ended up. It was an emaculant model. You have an excellent, beautiful model yourself. If you built it yourself or are just maintaining it from being bought finished, you have done a wonderful job and I commend you on your efforts. It looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing. 👍

I been a big fan of the ET&WNC since purchasing the live steam version of #12 twenty-two years ago. I spent an enjoyable day with a cab-ride on #12 a number of years ago at the Tweetsie Railroad!

@@ebtrr12 I rode #12 when I was 10 years old back in the 70's at Tweetsie. As time has passed all of my children and grandchildren have enjoyed it also. Fond memories. Very nice video thank you!

As shown in the video shots in the firebox, it's a coal burner. Sorry, she not for sale unless you can arrange a trade for the real ET&WNC #12!!!!!! If you can, we have a deal!!!!! LOL

Sweet engine, what kind of coal are you burning in there? Bituminous? It's really smokey.

The coal is known as Sword's Creek Bituminous. Available from a supplier in Hagerstown, MD.

I like to see smoke and glad you using bituminous coal which is smokey as looks "realistic" everyone uses the anthracite stuff though
