I think I have to disagree. Lil Timmy Tim is a persona, just like when he acts confident- or okay completely different- in any of his acting roles. Timothee has said himself that it was easy to be confident in that persona because it felt like it wasn’t him, so he was still shy/nervous/awkward- basically how he is in interviews- on a day to day basis

I’m honestly in love with this man. He is so down to earth and kinda awkward but adorable. The way he transforms on screen and his confidence and commitment to the characters he plays is unlike any other actor. He is going places and deserves every ounce of success he has

You point out one Very unique aspect of this boy/ young man - he Transforms... He is like a chameleon. He actually looks like different people at times. And, his emotional depth of expression is beautiful, even marvelous. At certain moments I want to just watch him present an expression - without any words - because he is so beautifully expressive. Any words are almost a distraction in Timmy's case. He can communicate with you at a subliminal level.

Big Timmy fan here and let me say: not lipstick lol. His lips are ridiculously pink/red. They are always that way. He is also always this awkward and goofy/nervous on talk shows. Also has trouble looking them in the eyes at first. I wouldn’t be shocked if he has some underlying anxiety. But otherwise this is par for the course. He’s just a very sweet and soft dorky boy. Hopefully he never changes. I would take this sort of awkward genuineness over a slick fake facade. Hes a good egg and a brilliant actor.

I don't think people realize how big a deal it is that Timothée is cast as Paul Atreides in Denis Villeneuve's Dune movie. Like Dune is the definitive Sci-Fi series, much like how Lord of the Rings is the definitive Fantasy series. But Stephen gets it! Because of course he does

He’s literally the sweetest boy I’ve ever seen in and out of show biz. I guess every parent should have a crash course on parenting with his parents.
Beautiful Boy is an incredible film. This interview only touches the surface of emotion involved in watching and experiencing it. Every kid, every parent, every human who wants to be a parent will benefit from seeing it.

Man i have high hopes for Dune, incredibly high hopes. And this is a perfect choice for Paul Atreides.
Villeneuve is a master, and he never fails me. And with Dune i hope he finally makes his huge epic we all deserve to see, that will sell tickets like nothing he has done before. Because Villeneuve's art deserves to be seen and experienced. This is a director that at this point in his career can handpick any franchise he wants. Star Wars, James Bond, Marvel, DC.. You name it, this guy is on every single executives radar. And Denis can cash in easy millions upon easy millions.
And what do Denis do? He wants to make Dune, holy crap, if that isn't admirable, i don't know what is.
Villeneuve is one of my favorites, I'm so excited and I'm sure it's going to be incredible.
I have been waiting for eons for a proper visual telling of Frank Herbert's masterpiece, and I've heard rumors of it for the last few years, and finally I recently heard there was actually a project in the works. The first of the info I could find was the casting of Paul Atreides with this young man, so when I saw this interview I had to take a look. Words cannot describe the excitement coursing through me! And yes, he looks perfect to play Paul. Is there any other information other than who is playing Paul and that it is a Movie series? God I pray that they get Duncan Idaho, the Bene Gesserit, Baron Harkonnen the Sand Worms, and just everything else correct this time... David Lynch's version was fun to watch, and it's a classic, but it doesn't truly embody Dune, in my opinion.
@@seedfamily1404 What you just said about Lynch Dune, is almost exactly what Denis Villeneuve said about it as well. That he truly enjoyed the film in some ways, but it was not the dune he wanted to see. Lynch himself has said many times that he does not want to be associated with the movie as it didn't turn out the way he wanted.
Denis is a master at story telling, his version of Dune will be two movies to tell the entire story of the first book as deep and complex as possible within the cinematic experience. It's going to be totally different than Lynch version, much more complex, more epic, larger scale. It's highly likely this will be the sci-fi version of Lord of The Rings, if you will.
About casting and such. Only one other actor is at this time linked to the movie, and that is Rebecca Ferguson to play Lady Jessica, but it's not confirmed yet. The movie will start filming next spring if everything goes according to plan. All the financing is being secured, there are lots of money at play here. @@FabledGentleman please for god's sake let it NOT be the sci-fi version of Lord of the Rings, those movies were a yucky cheesefest, it's impossible to rewatch them. Dune directed by Villeneuve has a chance to be an actual real classic.
