@@Alexkaig You can start with Any, the universal saying/take is "Choose whichever Rider(s) look coolest to you) although i firmly believe to avoid Decade and Zi-O, they are anniversary seasons and spoil most to every other season as they bring back actors to conclude/extend character storys/arcs, at least Zi-O does, Decade is safer as they do Alternative Universes, my personal recommendation is: Build, Gaim, Drive, Ex aid, Ryuki, or the latest season Gotchard

Sadly they can no longer live in Earth again due to what's called the "Anti-Flash Phenomenon", which basically makes it so that living in Earth becomes poison to them

So fun fact Power Rangers actually adopted most footage ( some fighting scenes) from super sentai, the main difference in my view is the opening song, characters, morphers ( sometimes), some series actually mix 2 sentai series into 1 Power Rangers series ( Like Megaforce and Super Megaforce mix Goseiger - Angels and Gokaiger -Pirates )
3:50 Battle Fever J was toei's sentai version of the Avengers and was aired at the same year as Japanese Spider-man.

The mecha’s were practical suits people wore that got edited with other footage for decades, like Godzilla for years
About the brothers getting punched in the earlier intros... I think it's because this was Mohammed Ali's heyday and so the stereotype of black dudes being amazing boxers was floating around. Show a character beating a black guy in the ring and you instantly know he's a capable fighter. Not the best look in hindsight.

Carranger is a must watch, it's more of a comedy and doesn't take things too seriously. That's why I like it.
You should check out Sentai's sibling series Kamen Rider next, it's the older brother by 5 years.
Just to point it out: From Zenkaiger onward, the openings include some scenes of the episodes they're used

Fun fact at 7:20 that opening theme belongs to Solar Squadron Sun Vulcan, the only all male super sentai team. Thay also was almost had start power rangers before power rangers as Stan Lee and Marval comic try bringing the show to the US in the 80s but the project was unsuccessful with the the US version of sun vulcan only get a few dub over episodes on late night children tv channels, a hand full of live stage shows that where consiter somewhat popular and a old marvel comic tie in to the american show. Thought I have no clue if marvel version of Sun Vulcan is still consiter canon to thair comic book universe.

Alright, in terms of recommendations, I once again pitch Gekiranger and Shinkenger! They're the sentai versions of my favorite Power Ranger seasons Jungle Fury and Samurai, and they're good alternatives if you think that Power Rangers are, as much as I hate to say it, "too childish/cringe". I would especially like to highlight the current season that's been going this year called BoonBoomger, which I'm having a lot of fun watching right now and have bought several toys of! (funnily enough another episode for it just dropped today)
Sidenote, I recently went on a trip to Japan where I saw every Super Sentai/Power Ranger suit at a place called Toei Kyoto Studio Park. My inner five year old was squealing the entire time I was there.

Super sentai is the original , Power ranger is an american adaptation of it that take some shows from the original and after they americanized it. ( some times PR takes some elements from old sentais appears in other power rangers shows for example Cosmic fury megazord thats is from Kyuranger ) . The only OP missed to listen to is Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomOhger the newer sentai for this year. ( oh and if you wanna figure out the names of the seasons they literaly say in the intro ) .

1:04:05 this is Super sentai Strongest Battle, a mini season that has as a Main team the red rangers from Zyuohger, Gokaiger, Ninninger, the Orange ranger from Kyuranger and the Pink ranger from ToQger, so I at least advice tou watch one of those before the mini season, Gokaiger is actually amazing and my favorite sentai still, so I recommend that one, though maybe to start, I advice Dekaranger
Ninpu Sentai opening is my best so far. I just love it!!!

As a fellow one piece fan i highly recommend you checking out Gokaiger. I watched many sentai and each has a totally different feeling to it and unlike PR where everything follows mostly a similar concept. But from all the seasons i ever watched Gokaiger was the most funny and cool for me to watch. Others can be very serious or even dark for what you may know from PR but Gokaiger actually to me has some "what if the strawhats became rangers" vibes and i absolutly love the cast. Also another reason why i especially recommend Gokaiger is because they morph to all kind of sentai from all previous generations. So it's a good series to get interested into all the other, earlier seasons.

My personal favorite was the second last one, avataro sentai donbrothers, which is very unconventional but very fun at the same time. If you really want to start out then I recommend King-Ohger, the last one you watched.

You should definitely watch samurai Sentai. Its the series that the American series follow the closest to original and you can see how much better or worse things were done.
