I enjoy my life now but life was so much simpler feeling back then. You just ran with the time and felt on top of the world with all your youthful exuberance. somewhere in 2006 I was listening to a lot of Mandalay (Nicola's band) and was trying to find anything related to it. And I found this song, that I listened to everywhere I went on a cd player for weeks. My most vivid memory of this song is a train trip with some of my classmates. that trip and everything that happened on it is still one of my most cherished memories. and nothing brings it back like this song. it's one of those 'soundtrack of your life' type songs. It's been at least 10 years since the last time I listened to it. And today for some random reason I remembered. It filled my soul with nostalgia and I could almost feel the hot summer air and the wind in my hair from that train trip to lovely Sibiu, Romania.
The Rhythm of the chorus and vocals is adrenaline-filled, morning coffee to me. Why? I wish I knew the answer. It brings goosebumps and makes me "Flow". His music, old or new, brings an energy that allows for flow. I hope he does create a compilation of similar energy-filled music! I would buy it!!! One of his many songs you play over and over again and it never gets old! Why? Again, no answers
Electronic music is a genre that gets obsolete pretty quickly, most songs don't past the test of time. I loved that I could listen to this track in 2001, 2005, 2011 and even today and I think it has passed the test of time.
