How to install and use PsychoPy via Conda without the standalone PsychoPy program. This allows you to code PsychoPy experiments in your code editor of choice, for example VSCode.

Thanks Susan, this is very helpful! I've been trying to set up PsychoPy in a conda env for months now. I wonder if you managed to run audio in your paradigms with PsychoPy installed this way? I'm running into a bunch of psychopy.sound -related bugs. Also, are you on MacOS Sonoma? Thanks again!

I haven't played with audio yet, but I am developing a class on PsychoPy so it'll likely be something I'll get to. If I find bugs with using it in this paradigm, I'll report back. And yup, I'm on Sonoma.
