I was stationed on Oahu I love that island. I recommend staying on the north shore or at Turtle bay. That part of the island is a lot less crowded than the Honolulu side. And like all the islands it’s not hard to get anywhere you want to go on the island! Kaneohe is also BEAUTIFUL.

My grandpa passed on, and my grandma now lives in Kentucky in a nursing home near my aunt. I miss that area so much. I don't go very often any more since we have no family there, but I have deep affection for it.
