I saw Joseph sing with Toto in Atlanta last August. His voice was INCREDIBLE not to mention Luke, David and Steve! Very talented guys to say the lesst!

These vocals almost sound overdubbed. They are so spot on. This is real music. Great performance!
I don't know what they have done here, but it's certainly been tampered with. At 2:49 you can hear Joseph sing familiiiihiiihiiihiii and that is not what his mouth does. Also the perfect chorus sounds sometimes longer then mouths are open. Nevertheless I love this song.
The vocals on the chorus sound weird to me. Not sure what exactly they did, but it sounds like it's been altered.
Obviously autotuned. This is the same version that’s on Spotify and I guess they wanted it to sound as good as possible for a release. Joseph is still a good singer though but needed a little help on this one.
Been listening to Bill ..sons of champlin since forever. Discovered them working at record shop 'Sound odyssey' Loved that vouce@ style got me thru so many hard times! Just love @ respect the hell outta him!!

Just saw Joe with Toto at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, and I know they were sharing the Bill with Yes also one of my favorites, but it was a shame because it cut Toto's set to 90 mins and they did 4 songs off the new album which left very little room for anything but the very well known hits. Steve Howe is a great technical player, but he is Not even in the same stratosphere as Luke. Joe was even better at this show, as his chops were dead on!
+Jeff Boddye-Murphy I know people have different opinions but this is the first time I read that Steve Howe's playing is "technical". Down here he is consider a master. Maybe it is all just a matter of taste. Steve Lukather is great, one of a kind but in spite of me not liking Neal Schon's personality I do believe he's one of the best guitar players besides Mark Knopfler. They are just not sufficiently appreciated. Lukather does not belong to that list -my list- in my humble opinion.
Angela Glover Wow! U must have seen Luke live. Having seen both he and Schon multiple times, they are definitely in the same category. Luke is a master.

I'm pretty sure Joseph did some backings on the Toto track, and Bobby did the leads and some backings as well. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but at some parts in the song, like the chorus, I can hear Joseph's voice in there. Again, I could be wrong, but that's what I hear.

Awesome! But dude, autotune is such a bummer, I would much prefer to listen to Joseph singing without it, and making mistakes. Humans make mistakes, and sometimes beautiful mistakes.
Autotune sucks hard, I wonder if there will be a time when people will say "enough of this shit" and musicians will realize they don't need it anymore.

Great song, though this a Bobby Kimball Song (co-written with David Paich), and Joseph Williams, while an excellent singer, just doesn't sound energetic enough in this version as the original singer Bobby. That's normal when different band singers are trying to sing their songs, similar to Chicago (David Cetera vs. Jason Scheff). In reverse I don't think "I can't stop loving you" would sound as great from Bobby as from Joseph. Some songs are just best left to the original singer.
No, Kimball didn't write this song but Joseph did, with David Paich.
