How I Would Write Rise of the Guardians 2

  • Yes I know, yet another essay by me on how hard done by Rise of the Guardians is. Why would you possibly watch this after I’ve lamented so much about this already. Well I’ll tell you why! I have roughly drawn up a concept idea for said sequel that will most likely never be made! How fun! In all seriousness I actually genuinely like my idea, even if I think there’s a pretty solid reason the studio would never go with it, but let’s just have some fun with it anyway. Enjoy.

@@aragaminightmare9527 I like the idea of Krampus. Dark Guardians would be introduced into the franchise as a opposite group to OUR guardians. While the regular guardians bring fun and joy and protect, the dark guardians' jobs are punishments/consequences (all important to childhood of course, but meaner). The boogeyman would have fit right in that group.
Alternatively, I have read a theory where Pitch could have been a guardian too. We all need a little fear in our lives to keep us from doing stupid things and hurting ourselves/others. So there is a third movie idea: Redemption arc for Pitch and him realizing he does have a place and is seen. The lesson for kids is to learn not to fear your fears, but to accept and learn from them, but don't let them overpower you. Fears shouldn't always just be buried under the bed if they can save your life.

@@CatoftheStorm There is a semi-canon prequel comic by someone who worked on the film that explores the idea of Pitch becoming a guardian! I once saw the idea of a second film focusing on Pitch eventually taking over Holloween. Where he discovers the fun in fear, and the fact that its healthy to have a certain level of fear as children.
I think Jack can teach him to focus on more tricks. Or possibly meet a character with severe trauma where it influences their fear. Pitch is shown to have empathy, infact it's one of his main motivations is for people to empathize with him. So him growing out of the victim complex and by helping another character out, manifesting a trauma in a safe environment where their open to the feelings it invokes. Could be really powerful.

I actually read a fanfiction with that exact storyline and it was fantastic! 10/10 would have wanted a movie of that. In that fanfiction, there was even a chapter about Pitch's empathy, showing how he doesn't even necessarily create childrens' nightmares himself - they happen even without his influence but he can read/interpret them. And when Jamie's little sister has a nightmare (and Jamie catches Pitch 'in the act' of watching her nightmare play out) he tells Jamie that the nightmare indicates his sister is getting bullied and maybe something should be done about that.

Instead of Stingy Jack, I instead I propose another Halloween character: Samhain, or Sam for short.
His core attribute would be Creativity/Imagination, because let's face it, there is no holiday like Halloween that stimulates creativity quite so much.
Sam is a trickster and prankster, but also an illusionist, a craftsman, a magician and an innovator. He spends a lot of time scrounging through trash to find discarded materials he can turn into props, costumes, and set pieces; Sam is someone who looks at something someone has deemed useless and sees new potential. He can take a pile of old, wooden pallets and make a pretty convincing haunted house facade with them.
The Guardians would be suspicious of him when they discover that he'd been harboring Pitch for the past several centuries, the two naturally working well together, and because he likes to give purpose to those others deem useless.

OMG perfect! I imagine him like a old haggard man with one eye, a hunch and a cane like a dark reflection of Santa. Maybe Jack could be his assistant? Stingy Jack could represent the tricks of holloween, Sam is creativity (and throwing my own idea in) the candyman represents fear (maybe at one point giving/compassion). Three characters for all of Halloween, Sam is a grump who likes being alone but entertains Jacks tricks bringing the mischief that inspires him while the Candy man used to have Jacks place at Sams side but took the pranks too far. The guardians don’t trust him or Jack because they originally saw no harm in pich but after him and Candyman started going too far, harming children instead of giving them a good scare before showing them there’s nothing to fear, he caste them out. At first the movie would have the guardians assume Stingy Jack was responsible for childrens fear but then Jack (as in frost) learns from Sam he used to have a different assistant, Candyman. Candyman used to bring smiles to children with Stingy Jack but grew jealous of the attention his younger counterpart got and plotted against him, maybe even revealing the real Sam was taken prisoner by Candyman and Candyman is now posing as him.

There’s a story about the headless horseman that is pretty famous around the Halloween season. It revolves around a man who goes into Sleepy Hollow and is spirited away by him. It would be cool to write him in the story.
In my mind, the mystery villain is only described as a human body with a detachable head. If Jack O’Lantern had the design with a detachable pumpkin head, he would be a strong suspect. Meanwhile, you can introduce Ichabod Crane, a nice man who may say he resembles thanksgiving or something. Only to find out he was the headless horseman all along.

    • @somebodykares1
      @somebodykares1 17 дней назад +14

Ichabod Crane was from the colonial era America so thats why he dresses that way, Halloween is a hard holiday to portray for its a very old holiday but its celebrated differently around the world. There is the "Trick or Treat" Halloween, "Ancient Curses and Witchcraft" Halloween, "Remembering the Dead" Halloween, and various others based on cultures, so really Halloween would either have to depict all those variations in one character, or Halloween is a collective group of characters on their own. If they still fear it won’t do well, just go the Bad Guys route: seasonal specials showing short stories about the characters we live. And then here comes a new problem about creating these short stories of other holidays like The Bad Guys, but regardless it's still something they could do to get kids invested into Rise of the Guardians. The animation would be like Kung Fu Panda Legend of Awesomeness, and recasting the original actors like they always do.
But like I said, if DreamWorks really do decide to make short stories of Rise of the Guardians, it would at least get kids invested into the characters.

A sequeal I would feel is Jack interacting with Fathertime and getting himself tossed back in history to discover his life before he became Jack Frost, and goes about the dilema of if he wants to prevent himself from becoming Jack Frost, while the other guardians try to track him down, coming across their past selves whom are more aware of time nonsense for they have been around for longer and know Fathertime, unlike Jack at that period of time.

If we go with the Halloween theme, the moral should be that fear is not evil.
The center of the Lantern (as he will be called to avoid confusion) would be fear, just like Pitch. However, while Pitch uses fear to abuse people, Lantern uses fear to educate people. Lantern's job is to make kids scared so that they don't make irresponsible decisions. Pitch had that job in the past but let the power go to his head.
Because of their battle with fear in the previous movie, this would require some major contemplation on the heroes' part. The other guardians being old would be obstinate but Jack being the new guy would see things with fresh eyes.
The theme of the story would be that fear is not some sort of illness that needs to be cured but rather a natural and at times healthy part of human nature.
Perhaps the disaster you spoke of could be that without pitch kids aren't scared anymore so they are now doing dangerous things. And without fear keeping them rational they may end up killing themselves.

For a twist villain, I'd personally do Baba Yaga (from Slavic folklore). You can/could play her up as a seemingly nice grandma character but with sinister motives or actions when eyes aren't on her. You could make the plot like there's a bunch of children are going missing. The guardians suspect Jack 'O Lantern & all things point to him. But through Jack Frost & deeper investigations by the other guardians, it's revealed that Baba Yaga is responsible. Her motive? Paint herself as a good-natured figure in hopes of being chosen by the "man in the moon" as the next guardian. I'd think that Jack 'O Lantern would be chosen because at the end of the day/story/plot, he shows that he has his own personal code or lines that even he wouldn't cross, i.e. messing/tricking/eating children.

    • @wheresprototype3507

I think an interesting idea could be he was a very... unwanted child, having envy of every other child when he was young.
So what you do is have him be the obvious suspect, but have it be revealed her tricks and messes with children to make them laugh, to be happy. Because Lantern wouldn't want a child to grow up like himself.

I love this idea and to expand on it: I imagine Baba Yaga would be constantly "flirting" with Santa Claus, making comments like "I could just gobble you up." She might even dislike Jack because he's so skinny and she might make jokes about rabbit stew with the Easter Bunny. They might even connect her a bit to the Hansel and Gretel story with her giving out treats to fatten up children so she can eat them (really dark, I grant you that).
I contrast, Jack-o-lantern might explore the theme of "healthy fear," and even encourage a sort of "don't talk to strangers, much less accept candy from them." There's a lot you could to with the idea that the traditional purpose of a jack-o-lantern is the same as a gargoyle, to be sort of a totem that scares away evil spirits. The other guardians might fall for her tricks, and it's up to Jack to scare Baba Yaga away from the children. You could do a lot to explore the idea that "scary" doesn't mean bad, especially when it scares away something evil.
Also, total side note, I'd love if they had a character who is just "The Ferryman" with the idea that there are some places that childhood magic is not allowed to take you.

Recently, all you see now are remakes, but ROTG is just sitting there BEGGING for a sequel or even a TV show. I honestly agree that a TV show would be the better way to go. Think of the Tangled Series, you have multiple episodes to cover different storylines and develop different characters. You can also explore character relationships, especially Jack’s relationships with each of the other Guardians. You can easily release it on a streaming service without so much as a risk of it not making the big bucks a movie would. Just…UGH! Come on, Dreamworks! Personally for a sequel, I've always had the idea of another guardian being based on Valentines day (halloween, while amazing in design opportunities, seems too similar to pitch black) With another girl guardian being able to hear the inner voices of people (hearing their innermost wishes and desires). Valentina (I'm workshopping the name lol) is being called in because there has been an uprising of darkness and anxiety within not just children, but teenagers as well, so she would use her abilities to try and assist in finding the root of the darkness, only to find it's cause is more isolation due to the rise of technoology and how it's stopping people from connecting with others (symptoms which would be made worse by another character that thrives off feelings of anxiety and isolation). and the only way to assist with that would be to remind people of how to connect with the people around them and their inner child. I'll probably still write this as fanfiction, I'll keep you posted X3

If they needed a new villain (since Pitch isn’t coming back anytime soon), this does open the possibility for a fun idea.
In the first movie Pitch was trying his best to get Jack to turn to the dark side, which begs the question… Has that happened before? A Guardian turning dark?
It’s not mentioned in the film, but the group seems to know a lot of other Guardian candidates (The Leprechaun, St. Roch, The Groundhog), so what if there have been Guardians that turned dark?
Some fun candidates would be Krampus (a little on the nose, I know), Father Time, Mother Nature, Stingy Jack (Jack’O Lantern), Uncle Sam, The April Fool and Baby New Year
Or maybe even a combination of the candidates who became incensed due to being passed over for other Guardians.

But you make an interesting case with Tech being the “antagonist” of this hypothetical sequel. For all the good that technological advancement has brought us, it has really desensitized us to the Wonder, Hope, Dreams, Memories and even Fun that living can give us. So watching the Guardians having to contend with an enemy that doesn’t exactly have a physical form, or maybe a more abstract form, would be an interesting challenge.
Heck, if you wanted to… Maybe our dependence on Tech and AI results in the birth of a new being. I can imagine their personality being like the New Gods (Media, Mr. World and Technical Boy) from American Gods.

Jack is a surprisingly common name in these stories. Jack and Jill, Jack and the beanstalk, Jack O Lantern, jack jumped over the candle stick.
And kids are not dumb enough to confuse 2 characters named Jack. So, a Halloween sequel with a pumpkin Jack that is about scarring kids in fun ways as the new protagonist can be great for a twist villain. How about Cupid a love base character that so nobody would really suspect him to be a villain.

Ah, *Rise of The Guardians* , the cinematic jewel that has been a wonderful resident in my head since the day I first saw it.
The sequel does sound interesting as it would be an interesting looks at the similarities and contrasts between Jack Frost and Jack O' Lantern as both are mischievous tricksters but with different motives, one innocent fun and the other not-so-innocent fun.
Although, they could include a second Halloween character called *Trick O' Treat* who could be the more positive version of *Jack O' Lantern* or once upon a time was close to Jack O' Lantern but things fell through and Jack O' Lantern is now causing chaos and possibly trying to destroy Jack Frost's reputation with his tricks.
Jack O' Lantern being a trickster could have the ability to change part of his appearance to look like Jack Frost which would play more on how people mistaken Jack O' Lantern for Jack Frost.
However, the spirit Trick O' Treat could be the one helping prove Jack's innocence and exposing Jack O' Lantern's tricks and helping uncover why Jack O' Lantern who once close to Trick O' Treat suddenly turned so bad.
The sequel could look into the spirit figures that represent Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
So while Jack O' Lantern may be causing havoc, he might not be the only one and another dark figure could be at work too with him like maybe *Krampus* or another figure.
It could maybe even be a new spirit as a villain who is not connected to any known lore but in a way connected to factors of the lore like maybe a spirit connected to the Grimm Reaper who no longer wants to maintain balance or a spirit connected to monsters like the Wendigos who wants to bring true terror.
The reason that these antagonistic spirits are rising now could be that when Pitch Black, the Nightmare King, was on top, him being on top was what kept these other spirits at bay but now that he's not there, they're all coming out of the cracks.
This could set the stage for a third movie with Pitch Black's return and possible redemption after the heroes have temporarily defeated the sequel's new villain but kicks off the third villain.
The third movie could have Pitch's return to either work with the new villain or help the heroes defeat the new villain who is more dangerous than anticipated.
This could bring the understanding that Pitch's element of Fear is not bad but is what created the essence of caution and protection, something that the other guardians' elements can't quite do because their elements essentially encourage cancelling out fear but not truly understanding the importance of it which might be what Pitch is about as while he is responsible for fear, he is also responsible for people being cautious of what could harm them which is his own way to protect from harm.
Honestly, I'm still waiting for the day that they announce that they are giving Rise of the Guardians a sequel, triquel and a TV Show.

Ok to go off your concept, I would have stingy jack be kinda like the overseer of Halloween and protect people, in real life Halloween was supposed to be the one night that the spirit realm and mortal realm connect (i saw this somewhere but i don’t know if this is accurate) so I say we play into that and have the main cast capture stingy jack a few days before Halloween and then we get the split with the guardians, in the mean time I say we introduce baba yaga a character that is trying to blend the spirit realm and mortal realm together causing a lot of trouble, and without stingy jack she is able to do so.

    • @jhezziahbaza2183
      @jhezziahbaza2183 17 дней назад +5

I say baba yaga because like you said we can use a character who looks nice but actually be bad, and the reason I want stingy jack to be the overseer of Halloween is because in his story he tricked the devil to stall time so maybe he can trick other spirits to not enter the mortal realm.

I feal like a sequel should focus on the consequences of getting rid of pitch since fear is something that usually protects kids from danger, it keeps us alive. jack probably wouldn't have died if him and his sister had been too scared to go on the ice in the first place so clearly pitch wasn't doing his job properly and since the whole thing of being a guardian is about protecting kids I think there a lot you could do with this kind of storyline

Love the idea of two Jacks, as this gives a great chance for Frost to observe his own arc from the last film from a new perspective. I can see him getting upset about the way the “other Jack” is being viewed and going out of his way to stand up for them.
I will say, if a Halloween character is used to be very careful not to vilify them. Halloween already struggles as a Holiday thanks to “Christmas creep” and it’d be way too easy to just make “fear bad” the simple message. If you go into the idea of centers, O’Lantern’s could be “courage”, since his fear based antics could be focused on encouraging kids to be brave or take ownership of the things that scare them or just plain have the guts to BE what they want to be, if only for just one night. I think that’s a positive message that needs to be seen and understood a lot better than it is.

idea for jack (Stingy jack) design wise at least. Make him a dulluhan. Basically like a centaur with a detachable head (like a headless horseman) and a spine as a whip. Not only would that be badass, a memorable design fit for halloween, maybe he could use his pumpkin head as the lamp
(maybe have a joke where he grumbles why do they always think it's a turnip, he's much more sophisticated than a root veggie)
His centaur body and whip could make the guardians even more apprehensive since he has a big scary weapon and their trauma relating to Pitch's nightmare horses.
He could relate to Jack (Frost) in how sometimes a little fear can be fun and the guardians all call him 'Stinge' for the whole movie until they trust him and call him something else idk what though

Fun Fact:Rise of the Guardinas was a succes in the end!Why only on VIDEO sales alone in ONLY 2 years it made over 200 million(The difference is unlike the theatrical the DVD sales come with 90 percent share for DW so in fact it was in the end a succes(Also this also doesnt account for money made from merch, licensing etc. so in the end the film was definitively in the red...
So it was more of a dissapointment at first rather that an outright flop(Bee Movie cost 150 an on theatrical only made 297...and was not labeled a flop or a writedown mainly due to dvd sales)and when it comes to sequels impressions of the previous movie matter a lot and thankfully rotg has a great reputation
An RotG sequel still is possible and has a fairly decent chance, plus Joyce,Ramsey and Del Toro have made it clear that they would love to make a sequel(I bethca during all these years they had plenty of time to plan out a continuation, that and DW is very good in sequels make me believe that a sequel is in good hands)....

I have mixed feelings. While it's been a long while since I've seen the movie, I remember coming home and making a recording of myself talking about awe and wonder. I needed to express myself aloud about it. And how I wanted to give people that same feeling I felt somehow, someday. I would love to feel more of that. In this setting, even. But I also am tired of sequels and remakes. And while I'd watch a sequel to this in a heartbeat, I also look at what they did to Megamind. Would they destroy this as well? Is not having more a blessing?

I'd love for a Rise of the Guardians sequel. As for a villain...to keep with Halloween and that being my favorite holiday anyway, I like the idea of Jack-o-Lantern being the villain. Slight difference though. He was chosen as a Guardian a long time ago, but due to disbelief by older folks who used to believe in him, as well as a twisting of what Halloween is meant to mean, he left the Guardians. Unlike Pitch who was never a Guardian in the first place, Jack left the Guardians of his own volition, but he made a promise before he did. He promised that he would never allow the Man in the Moon to choose a new Guardian to take his place. "Halloween is MY Holiday. If people want to fear me instead of rejoice, then I'll give them a reason to fear." Rather than helping to spread wonder and joy and laughter, Jack starts spreading fear. Like Pitch, but unlike Pitch he's already powerful during Halloween. Because people already have that fear. So he just uses that to make his "Halloween Monsters" realistic. Werewolves, vampires, witches... undead cheerleaders. He takes no joy in it because he's not really EVIL, he's just sorely misunderstood because of people changing. Cue Jack Frost and the Guardians teaching him that there are still people who love his holiday, times are just different and it's harder for people to fully enjoy Halloween.

Regarding a nice holiday character that would make a great twist villain, I think the Leprechaun fits the bill perfectly. Well known enough to be an "obvious pick" for the guardians and is generally depicted as a whimsical little guy, but mischievous enough in his own folklore to act villainously. He would be a perfect counter for this Jack-o'-lantern guy as they are both Irish and both are judged at first sight with Jack judged as a monster and the leprechaun as a light-hearted lucky charms mascot. And his mischievousness can easily be hidden behind the fact that Jack Frost was also mischievous when he started so the guardians feel more willing to give the leprechaun the same chance. One witch this devious little rascal can easily take advantage of.

I mean, playing into the idea of this being a Rise of The Guardians 2, the full title could be, 'Rise of The Guardians: Tale of 2 Jacks.'
I've actually thought about this a lot. Including how to clean up Stingy Jack's character. In both cases of tricking the devil, he uses a cross that he carved. One he whitled in his pocket for when the devil was a coin, and the other etched into the base of the apple tree. This idea of being a carver/wittler could then play into the biggest aspect of Halloween: Costumes.
Back when he was a normal human, Stingy Jack would've been disliked for his tricky and prankster nature, always scaring people. But, when the veil between the human a spirit real was at its weakest (Oct 31st) and spirits began flooding into our world, Jack would spring into action. Carving faces into pumpkins and handing out his hand-made masks to help people scare off the spirits, marking him as someone worthy of becoming a guardian by The Man in The Moon.

You should it not so much as a case of the Guardians get hurt, but as them getting trapped, an idea for this could be faries, as in the real folklore they were pretty cruel. You could have Jack, Bunny, and Stingey Jack stay behind and try ways to make him popular as a potential Guardian, as O'Lantern could have trouble being appealing to kids. When the trio gets word that the others are trapped, they have to go on a journey to rescue the Guardians, and on the way, we can see O'Lantern start to differentiate fun tricks and games of the Halloween spirit, from the generally cruel and sadistic manipulations of the fae. As an aside, the captured Guardians would have to defend their love of the children and try to stop the fae from running amok, going around kidnapping children and making horrendous deals with desperate people. However, the imprisoned Guardians coukd find allies in some renegade chapter of faires.

Another Halloween character than might make a good Guardian-To-Be in a sequel would be the Headless Horseman. While most people know about him from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the legend of the Horseman actually extends way back, with there even being stories in European folklore about him. There's a lot of mystery surrounding who/what exactly he is, with some saying he's the ghost of a beheaded cavalryman from the Revolutionary War, and some saying he's a cursed and evil fae. They could probably play off the fact that the Horseman is often depicted as a villain, with at least one Guardian saying that he's not Guardian material because he's too scary. But then, in the climax of the movie, we learn what his center is: bravery. Learning to get through fear is an important part of childhood and growing up, and ghost stories provide a harmless way of learning to face one's fears.

Maybe I'm biased because I also adore the trickster archetype, but The Stingy Jack character you've described here already lives in my heart. So many times I've seen tv shows in particular use the aesthetic of it and not really anything beyond that, but you really seem like you're serious about giving Jack-o some screentime and plot development. I'm also really vibing with the themes of judgement and profiling, as it's something that I find isn't really covered in media (especially kids' media) all that much. I just found the channel through this video.
I think it could be fun to see figures representing the Solar New Year and Luna New Year pop up at around the same time, with the Guardians mostly being confused about how there can be two different figures representing the New Year, especially if both figures have noticeably different designs and visual languages; for example, the Lunar New Year character having the ability to transition between each of the different animals in the Chinese Zodiac but with the caveat they can't remain in one form for too long or they will be forcibly changed to the next animal in the cycle on the wheel while they can shift between any one of the animals on the wheel at almost any time to take advantage of the benefits of each form, including their elemental affinities, and it could be fun to see the Easter Bunny being noticeably irked, possibly even distrusting, of this Lunar New Year figure because of the fact there is a Year of the Rabbit, however the Lunar New Year figure can also shift between alternates of each year but only when they are in that year's form, and demonstrates this to the Easter Bunny by shifting from a Rabbit into a Cat (the cultural variant of the Year of the Rabbit in Vietnam) as a way to make the Bunny more at ease; while the Lunar New Year figure is openly bright and hopeful, reflecting the common beliefs about the Solar New Year. This time around, there doesn't have to be an antagonist, and instead the conflict would come from everyone trying to figure out how to reconcile the two New Year figures, made all the more difficult by the Lunar New Year figure trying to be genuinely helpful and doing their best to not get anyone mad at them and the Solar New Year figure being a bit of prankster who seems to get their jollies off of seeing the Lunar New Year figure getting blamed for all the stupid stuff the Solar New Year has been pulling.
Maybe Jack, as the newbie to the group, and the one who solved the crisis in the film despite all the distrust thrown his way, notices the pattern and gets the Sandman and maybe the Tooth Fairy to back on a play to get finally reveal what's really going down. And through their efforts they show reveal the Lunar New Year is playing all these pranks because for whatever reason a manifestation of April Fools' Day is developing inside of the Solar New Year figure, and they have to figure out how to untangle and separate the essences of the two holidays, because the pranks are annoying but not necessarily harmful, but they still need to get the true culprit out so they can guide them in a way that makes it, so their actions are less disruptive and more in the spirit of the mission the Guardians have.
Of course, that's my input on everything.

I think it would be pretty cool if they used the headless horseman in some way. When I think of Halloween that’s the very first thing that always comes to mind.

This is an interesting idea, and if it were to be a film changing Jack O’ Lantern to Sawane could work since he’s the spirit of Halloween.

Better idea: give us a prequel in the story before Jack's death. He had an entire life before that according to the books. Like. A massively impactful life.

Going off of the theory that Jamie and Jack are related, I would love a story where they discover exactly how they're related, and learn about Jack's family, and that Jamie's family, and how the generations got from Jack's sister to Jamie. That would be fun.

this movie is a hidden gem, and a 10/10. I would love to see more movie for this movie. Krampus would be a good pick for Halloween Christmas themed movie.
I think that the Pitch Black is more on the lines of SandMan
for future could be (like i mentioned) Krampus for Santa Claws
    one enemy for Easter Bunny
    one for Tooth Fairy
    one for Jack
So on and so forth, and theirs a good hand full of folk lore out their to make a good number of movies to make from.

What if the plot is Jack Frost one day begins to randomly fade away slowly as if he were being forgotten. Due to this Jack becomes too weak to use his abilities, leaving the other guardians to have to find out what's the cause. The guardians search and use all their abilities to try and find out what's happening to Jack, even tracking the whereabouts of the boogeyman to ensure he isn't the cause. Anyways sandman would eventually find out through through one of the dreams he's traversing that another "guardian" is being conjured. Through little rumors and stories being spread on the playground a guardian named Headless Jack would come to be. Headless Jack would essentially be the spirit of halloween since it's one of the last seasons before the winter [Jack Frost and Santa's holiday time]. Since the name Jack is being used another way, the powers that are fading from Jack Frost are making Headless Jack stronger. Much like the first movie instead, Jack Frost isn't the one save the squad, it's the squad saving Jack Frost. Idk I'm high 💯

I loved this movie! This was my absolute favorite as a kid! I remember when I was so hyped in maybe getting more for this franchise.
I had always wanted another movie for this, I was hoping we’d get more news, it’s so sad to see how this turned out. This style was so pretty the magic the story it was something I needed when it first came out. I remember watching this film and even my parents were impressed by all the work put into this (at least this is how I interpreted based off their reactions)
This franchise is special to me, I mainly love the fun designs for Tooth Fairy because she’s soooo pretty!! I kinda wished we get more background of how the man of the moon was picking people to join in as a guardian. I’d love to go about how everyone else had reacted to them being picked and what their life was like before Jack Frost arrived. Not sure what you can really do with the this tho.
This is on my thoughts of the “ships” but I wanna get this out there, (This is just my opinion)
I have seen this ship between Jack Frost and Elsa and like I’m sorry but imo Jack is stuck as a minor (16) and Elsa is an adult. (I forget her age by the end of the franchise) That’s a little weird but I get why people ship them, but that’s a bit weird.

I definitely think Jack o’ Lantern being a main villain in a sequel is a good concept. I am also for the introduction of other guardians like Cupid and the Leprechaun.
As for the third film it would have to be Krampus as the main villain.
I am also for Jack Frost and the Tooth Fairy becoming a couple.

I have an idea for the twisted villan...Cupid, hear me out, nobody would expect him to the twisted villan in the universe, so Jack O lantern would seem like the bad one, I can explain more if anyone want

I think that it’d be interesting to see stink jack be the actual villain. Have him start out as a mischievous underdog, but make it so he’s slowly is trusted by the audience, then show that the character the audience had grown to love is evil
