Great subject and very important especially once you feel you’ve hit the mid way of your life span. At that point a lot of people evaluate what they have accomplished and analyse if they have a deep sense of fulfilment, or a lack of accomplishment. As you rightly observed, along the journey there is a lot of failure and unfulfilled outcomes and plans and reconciling that maturely and trying to move forward without allowing yourself to remain stuck

thanks so much for this! i’m 35 and was putting others first my whole life who didn’t mind running me over… i was in survival/trauma mode. i’m FINALLY blossoming into the woman i always knew i could be after decades of trial, error and calamity… it really helps me to think that god has a perfect plan for all of us and without my tough path, my true essence wouldn’t have fully been able to blossom. we all have a different essence, process and purpose, going through our own unique journey. the gift of longevity allows for a deeper, richer blooming experience. just like the most luxurious dishes take more love, effort and time to prepare.

Daniel, I’m a professional Counsellor and Psychotherapist, this is part of the issues I sometimes have to process with clients, unmet needs, unmet wants, unfulfilled desires, damaged emotions, that produces unconscious inner drivers that often manifest in addictive habits/ cycles. Individuals try to fills the inner voids, gaps and empty space with either illicit or abnormal habits.
