Took me ages to figure where this filghtpath was going.
The large body of water seen at very start is Strathclyde Loch. You clearly make out Forte Shopping mall just north of that. (The huge white horseshoe structure). What appears to be a large similar shaped thing further beyond, is in fact the Hogganfield Loch.
So the plane is going north, then spins round west and lands at GLA from over Clydebank.

That;s right! Usually goes that way when taking off from north or landing that way. Wish I got a clear view of the Armadillo but not near enough. Thanks for the view!

At the beginning you see the Raith interchange being upgraded. How long ago that feels now.

Scotland Tommy I think you mean place, not world. Or you could mean best in the world or something like that, but I do agree, Glasgow is beautiful (and I’m not just saying that because I live there)

Don't think so....... Looks like approach was over Kilwinning, A78 then Kilmarnock, after that I simply got bored looking at dreary Paisley......... Definitely Kilwinning by the way, and I recognise crosshill junction at Kilmarnock just before A77

This flight is not coming in over Kilwinning or Kilmarnock. The landing runway for this flight would have been 23 which basically means it comes up over Lanarkshire and turns left at about the Campsie Fells and descends down over Clydebank Yoker area.

Tom Porter it's a Scottish tradition after a flight to clap for the pilot and the crew to thank them for a safe voyage. Its courteousy
