A suggestion - move slower. You actually don't even need to narrate if you show everything slow and visually.
Another detail - I'd keep all the parts in camera view, with old parts to one side, and new parts to another. You can also chalk / sharpie / oil pen the part names as you place them on a high contrast mat.
