Love this melancholic and hopeful song, once I found this song after searching for so long and forgetting it existed, this nostagia reminds me, it not so bad
Some of the rest of the song is pretty good, I like the part that goes "and they'll all imply, that I might not last the day" but the rest of the song is way too peppy and peaceful. It should have remained melancholic, which makes me understand why Em took just the first part. All this to say that the song definitely had potential to better than even Stan, it's just too bad it never had a real idea of what it wanted to be, and the rest of the world can see that it was supposed to be this sad song that really tugs at your heartstrings, but just isn't there.

the best part of the song on repeat exactly what we've been looking for
Some of the rest of the song is pretty good, I like the part that goes "and they'll all imply, that I might not last the day" but the rest of the song is way too peppy and peaceful. It should have remained melancholic, which makes me understand why Em took just the first part.
All this to say that the song definitely had potential to better than even Stan, it's just too bad it never had a real idea of what it wanted to be, and the rest of the world can see that it was supposed to be this sad song that really tugs at your heartstrings, but just isn't there.
