i love how this film depicts love in the most unorthodox ways. the film depicts poverty and loss, while at the same time shining a light on the fact that love can really make a bad situation beautiful. i feel like many of the characters in this film are outcasted from societies views of love, but in reality they share some of the deepest and most touching love a person could ever find. the lumineers just continue to amaze me with their filmmaking…

What I love about this band is that they travel around, meet people and recognize 'regular' people and their important stories. This isn't some silly performers singing from a studio with bright lights. The Lumineers are so much more than that. I love them. What more can I say?
Totally agreed! Yes I think they have never lost touch with the common persons feels, struggles, triumphs, failures, heartache, regret, and redemption. Yes, there are a few songs from them that make my eyes rain.
Another album that touches the life of the most genuine... Can't wait for the rest.

Best band ever. I've never bought an album where I absolutely loved every song and was able to listen to it on repeat each day on my way to work. And to top it off, just when you think they can't get any better they go out and do just that. Long live the lumineers!!

I've had a real stupid phobia for the last 10 years (8-10 years of age)....which was people vomiting HAHA, it affects heaps of people but really affected me in weird ways. I wouldn't change my seating at school lunch cause it made me anxious, I wouldn't travel, hang out with people, I left school for a year cause of the anxiety etc etc. At the beginning of 2022 I was really depressed, cried like ALL the time lol and used to have breakdowns listening to this song thinking my life would never change even in the smallest ways. But now in december of 2022 I've gone on a return plane trip, gone to two big cities (one scared me so much I refused to go back lol), and I went to the lumineers concert in November, when this song started the concert off I immediately welled up with tears lol. It means so much to me, the music video hits harder as people intrigue me, I love hearing their stories and it makes me more excited to be a paramedic! I sang every single word to every song, I look back at the videos I took and smile lmao. It was truly the best night and I'm forever thankful to the Lumineers for their music! I also have the wave tattoo in the same spot as Cleo does in the sleep on the floor music video!

I've realised by now that The idea of love is more beautiful than love itself.

The sunset in Lowell, Massachusetts tonight was cotton candy pink and baby blue. This song came on a local radio station The River 92.5 as I was watching that sunset. Two and a half years ago I lost the love of my life. Her name was Kelly. I recently started seeing someone. Listening to this song gave me an affirmation that it's ok to love again. In some way listening to this song was Kelly's way of telling me it's ok to love again. What the world needs now, is love, sweet love. It's the only thing... that there's just...too little of. I can't describe it but there are songs and their music videos that catch me. And I mean CATCH and not just grab attention. I feel really addicted to this song and the need to see the video, too. This intro the people talking about love... it’s such a beautiful idea. Thanks, guys for producing music that is not just there on its own but in combination with a video. Creating a perfect symphony everybody should enjoy.

I am 40 something, love music. I had never heard of the lumineers before but I heard this song on my local 99.3 the Fox radio in Vancouver and that was it. I LOVE this song. It kept playing over and over in my head. This song has done it for you guys! Good job. Now I'm going to go listen to more of your tunes.

I never thought I could enjoy a video with people mudding and a woman in an American flag bikini, but I find I am able to overlook a lot for The Lumineers because every song has such heart. I like that they even focus on visuals as much as they do because they are true storytellers.
Do The Lumineers sound greater as they age? Or do they sound greater as I myself live and age? . Their music has helped me through both the darkest and the brightest times in life and still do to this day and still will tomorrow. The Lumineer Legends.❣️ 😇
