There's nothing like seeing Adam Lambert singing live. His voice is even better. I saw him last fall with Queen and it was amazing! Adam has 5 albums and some really great songs. I would suggest you watch him perform Who Wants to Live Forever with Queen at the Isle of Wight. It's an incredible performance. Roger said he had never heard it sung like that before. Brian May said no one can outsing Adam Lambert.

Queen + Adam Lambert just finished a sold out tour of Japan, Adam sang a song the Brian May and Freddie Mercury wrote, called, "Cling to Me" in English and Japanese. When Queen + Adam Lambert were in Bologna Italy he sang Nessun Dorma in Italian. Adam found the love of his life, Oliver, who is from Denmark in 2020, they've been together since then. Adam has written a musical for Broadway, he can't tell us what it's about yet, he's done voice overs for 3 cartoons as the villain. Adam and Roger Taylor, of Queen, bought a nightclub in West Hollywood a couple of months ago. Adam is currently in Austrailia as a judge on The Australian Voice. He will be leading the Mardigras parade in Australia. Adam, has alway said, Freddie Mercury can't be replaced, he just tries to honor him.
Sometimes when you are onstage, you actually can't hear other musicians clearly and it is easy to get lost. The earpiece hooks you into what you need to follow. Adam removes his earpiece often, I think he uses it to get oriented and then just takes it out. I have seen him do this with Queen as well. Adam is a trained actor as well as singer, he cut his teeth doing musicals. I don't think he was apprehensive when he began, I think he was giving the song the emotion it was meant to convey. I believe his demeanor was following the lyrics and the music itself. Thank you for your reactions.

Adam is a great singer, probably one of the best, and he has made five albums so far. The latest one is full of cover songs and is called High Drama. He once explained in an interview that his IEMs tend to pop loose when his jaw opens wide while singing, so multiple times in a live show you'll always see him putting them back in on mid song. He also can't hear the crowd with it in, so sometimes after it comes loose, he just ditches one ear to hear the audience response.
Reba was honored the same night and Kelly Clarkson (then her daughter-in-law) sang Reba's tribute....cool to see the 2 different artists on the same stage.
