l am looking for an episode from season 3 of Robert Montgomery Presents called 'To Walk the Night.' It's the only filmed adaptation of William Sloane's novel. He also wrote 'The Edge of Running Water,' filed in 1941 as The Devil Commands starring Karlof
I still remember my high school English Lit class 40+ years ago, reading the book, watching this version because the original with Gloria Swanson was too long. Then, having to not just write a report about the story, but also create a bio profile of Norma Desmond. I received an "F" because I decided to go with a psychological approach. I focused in on the secret mental illness & substance addiction that controlled her life; causing her to self destruct and destroy what was an exceptional but short lived career. And, somewhere in a long forgotten box, I still have that paper.
Stunning performance by the great Mary Astor - THANKS!

Thank you for posting this episode. Do you have access to any of the 6 episodes in which Lee Remick appeared?
