We saw Shepard of the Hills years ago around 1985 when our kids were young, and it was so much fun! They had a bullfrog race down on the grounds where the play took place for the kids and at the end they asked for volunteers to form a bucket brigade to put out the barn which was on fire. We really had a good time. Glad it's back going again!!

I was raised by my grandfather. We came summer to Table Rock and camped out. We would always go see the Sheperd of the Hills play. As a kid i was always in Aw especially when they came riding riding their horses firing there guns and lighting the house on Fire. I did the Vigilante a few years ago. Very cool. My family doesn't appreciate the play like i did.
This is not just a story about a bunch of hillbillies. The story has a lot of deep truths that have been lost in the modern rush of society. Read the book before you see the play. It will make better sense. I'm so glad it came back. It was shut down for a while.

Our best friend was in this show Eddie Wood he was one of the first guys carrying the American flag 🇺🇸 unfortunately he passed away May 30,2020 & actor in play, he was also in the movie called & made in Branson, The Baldknobber the Movie 🎥 it’s the story of that area of history it’s great to view check it out !
