😊, when I fast, I fast for the returning of my happiness. And that happiness involves me living without anyone to give me happiness. I let go, and I full let God, by showing my patient with the process. But, i hurt cuz i still love. I pray for him to return to me, or to be happy without him. And for the Lord to help me clearly understand which one I'm to deal with. I will patiently wait on a direct answer from the Lord.
Yes!...speak and prophesy woman of God!!..God is not a jennie in a bottle...folks don't realize that when you surrender totally and follow Jesus it's going to cost you something and sometimes it will cost you everything...the person has to make that decision whether it's worth it to give it up for Him because He's not going to force anyone...thank you Jesus and Sis✝️❤
Amen my friend..Fasting is to build the relationship with God..He already knows that we are laying our hearts before him..But the fast is to show that we desire him more than anything else in hearts.
I think God is talking about people who think God is vending machine..put in fasting get out..your specific selfish wish. That fasting is not To know him and love him and obey him better.. Yesterday I found a scripture about proper fasting is kindness when it's inconvenient and to take the homeless into your home.. I'm not finding the reference right now...for that scripture. But to fast on your idea of that your blessings are for you only......no.... they are to share. If every true follower of Christ took in One Homeless person...we could cause a revival among the "faction less" If you take a homeless person..make sure you are precisely attentive to God's will..so you bring the right person in for your situation. I was abruptly asked by the Father to help a person...who had been a difficult neighbor...and I did and she blossomed from being injured and defensive to expanding her spiritual gifts and helping me around the house.. I had to sacrifice...some selfish ideas I had about how my home should be...
That was me and I did not take the teaching !!! I did not ask the Lord for anything the fasting was for obedience unto the Lord between him and myself!!! I very rarely ask the Lord for anything for myself!!! I pray for other that is way I listen to you and others!!! Where to or more gather! I dont know everything but I have studied for many years so when I say something or ask about something its for clarification or its because it didn't sound like the KJV I read! I don't try to deviate much from that Bible! Iam really not trying to insult aggravate irritate anyone and I know it comes out like that. sorry if I offended you again. Jesus warned us about these day's and to know the Bible.

I gave up just about everything but I am not giving up my children and Grandchildren he knows that
