- Young amateur driver having fun in an M3 GTS, following maybe the fastest E92 M3 ever, the well known "DAUXX31" Schirmer M3 to learn how to be fast on the track.
Since the season is over now, this will remain my fastest lap of the year. See you next sprint in Nürburg ;-)
Filmed with a GoPro Hero3+ Black, using the "GoPro flex clamp" to clip it on the slice the passenger seat.
Sound is recorded directly by the GoPro. Check some of my other videos for exhaust sound.
The application running on the iPhone is "Harry's Laptimer".

+Jamboolio The new Camaros are no joke, the ZL1 had an amazing time at the RIng too, they are very well constructed now, its more a track car than a straight car now.

A ma connaissance il n'y a que deux 1M Schirmer. Une suédoise noire ultra sobre mais avec les mêmes BBS dorées et le même carrossage de malade que les E92 et une antracite mat et rouge, allemande.
Celle-ci est celle de Simon, le patron de Laptime Performance, dans la région de Munich.

Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 (not R, they were not available for my dimensions last spring)

You didn't turn off your DSC/DTC! it's killing the power on corner exists. Turn ALL OFF next time and easy on the gas while exiting corner, you'll get better lap times.
labedra I think that would have been a dangerous risk to take considering the light rain combined with high speed and no run off zones.

I turn everything OFF as soon as the conditions are good enough

That car was crazy and sounded insane but those gloves i didn't like! That car was straight ripping the asphalt up and that guy could drive like the wind!
The steering wheel is in alcantara, I need gloves as soon as I go fast (slippery + delicate)

DoP3 BOY CRiS Actually M3 GTSs are in the 7:30- on the Ring not 7:50+ like the one in this vid. :-D Oh and NON turbo just all Motor wich makes it more remarkable..!

xCobi lol funny how I'm a Japanese lover when I own 2 fast Chevy and a Honda. 79 Malibu with a 6.2 and 5.3 silverado. And a jdm 4 door Integra. I owned muscle import and foriegns. So don't talk lol.

The arms are very stiff. ''Stiffness comes from fear...'' That's why you are so behind... Also you don't need gloves for this steering wheel model. ;-) Long story short, you need balls and no gloves. ;-)

When the track is completely dry, yes.
Here it was partially wet -> MDM mode (DSC ON but permissive)
i drive e92 335i and i wonder. What is bether tracion of or on. On track. I got manual gearbox Swiss Chris
+Yamol87 DSC OFF is faster and nicer to drive but MDM mode prevents from lots of issues....

S'il fait très chaud il faut parfois lever le pied après 15-20km a fond

Did i see that right at 5:25, the M3 Schirmer was chasing that Camaro and was keeping up with him? That's really fast! I've seen a video were it does the Ring just under 7 minutes, amazing.

I really enjoy all your Nordschleife videos. Congratulations. This car ssems very fast (you too) and souns great, not turbo muted or aspirating and pssshing sounds (and I have a 2.0T car...). I would love to see a lap of your M3 against a well driven E46 CSL
