you're officially a big boy youtuber so happy for you
Thanks you for another lore video!
I respect the hustle with the sponsor
No thanks
Wait!! You mean to tell me Tyranids aren’t heratics and graffiti artists?!?! I don’t believe you!
Favorite part of the story was the Dreadnought kool aid manning it through the wall demanding to know where the fuck Magnus was
My favorite dread moment was when he literally tossed a statue at a hell brute and says "in the name of the emperor I cast you down" and Galadriel was like holy shit.
@@armin8306 it was a helldrake but yeah
@@MsPysoul Oops I meant helldrake lol. But he did mess up a hell brute too 🤣
I LOVE its introduction where it messed up that hellbrute
Like HOLY FUCK HE PUNCHED IT SO HARD ITS ARMOR FELL OFF
@@Sigismunddagoat dreadnoughts always go so hard in the games lol.
Sorry this video was delayed so much! I underestimated how long it would be and how many drawings I had to make. Hope everyone enjoys it though! ALSO THANK YOU EVERYONE for getting the channel to 100K, the reception to my channel has been unbelievable.
Congrats man. Love your style and sense of fun and humour
You are really blowing up! VIP Charion for the win
100% deserved brother! let's goooo!!!!
Brother, Space Marine 2 itself brought me to your channel and got me subbed to you
What was the 1st best speech given in the game???
that scene of the dreadnought instantly deleting a heldrake by throwing a big rock at it will be a permanent memory in my brain
It was a statue buddy
I CAST YOU DOWN
@@dfly27485statues are technically big rocks carved into shapes😳
@@dfly27485the statue is made of rock so it’s a rock

Thank the Emperor for this video I was too busy chainswording heretics and xenos alike to have any clue what was actually happening in the plot
Lmao that’s a mood. I had to play through twice since the first time I was just taking it in and chatting with stream. The games too damn fun to read tbe subtitles all the time🤣
Thanks for watching!
Literally me loved the gameplay so much i skipped almost every cutscene
I love how Gadriel says: "The codex is for bitches" and Titus is like: "Yeah, bro, it's hammer time"
Black Templar sentiments exactly
Honestly, seeing Krak manage to get a raid shadow legend sponsorship brings a smile to my face. It is quite a youtube milestone, in a way.
lol, all real RUclipsrs need to do at least one raid sponsorship😂
For me it was a 9/10 Because lyandros didn't turn into a heretic and was slained by titus
Patience brother.
space marine 3
Fingers crossed for kill Leandros expansion.
This is one of if not the best Warhammer games of all times , also I love the Cadian 8th speech , gave me literal chills cause I'm a guard main
Ya it’s probably my favorite 40K game of all time. Perhaps it’s recency bias but it ticked all the boxes for me and had some of my favorite moments in gaming period.
I am going to probably get some hatred, but using Princess Aurora in this put a smile on my face. I loved her movie growing up she gets overlooked, and people forget what her name is. Thank you for giving her some attention.
Best movie! It has A DRAGON
Ya it’s funny I only ever see her referred to as sleeping beauty😂
@KrakDuk yeah sadly that is what everyone knows her as. Or think she is boring because she isn't in the film that much. Sleeping Beauty is a high-context film that requires the cultural background to appreciate how deep it is. Think of it like someone having no idea about the depth of Warhammer and have them try to appreciate what Titus went through being a Black Shield at the start of Space Marine 2 and how big it was for him to become an Ultramarine again. You may enjoy the game, but you wouldn't understand how big the end was with Marneus Calgar welcoming Titus back and the Lorals of Victory on Titus's helm.
Why would you get hate for liking a movie?
@@A_Professional422 Prepare for a long, but honest, answer. My concern wasn't liking the movie, but rather that Aurora has a rather substantial hatedom (if that is a word) even going back to the 1959 release of her movie. A combination of the fact she is a very traditional female character that was released in the rising feminist movement, the fact she is the titular character with only about 12 minutes in the whole 70 minutes of the film, and has little character reveal compared to previous princess characters such as the previous Snow White and Cinderella and especially compared to later ones like Ariel and Belle. This is why she is notably pushed to back of many properties and has substantially less material associated with her. As such, I was expecting the fact I thanked KrakDuk for including her in a positive light to have someone hate her.
The Chapter Standard scene for me has, pun intended, raised the standard for what I consider "faithful adaptations". So much of 40K can be distilled down to that one scene. Hopeless, unwinnable situation, and yet the brothers fight on. It's the perfect Venn diagram of silly bullshit and absolute badassery that meets in the middle to make 40K what it is. The takeaway from 40K for me has always been that one, it's ridiculous and fun because it's a game first, and two, the overwhelming might of the human spirit cannot be destroyed. We can conquer anything if we just "Hold this ground in the name of the Primarch!"
Good point there!
“IF WE DIE, WE DIE WITH VENGEANCE ON OUR LIPS”
I actually loved the fact we kill the tyrant as our PVE guys, makes you still feel like a vital part of the story while also just being a fun mission
Titus's facial expression when he got told that the codex 'does not support this action' was so great.
When Pimp Daddy Calgar rolled in hos Thunderhawk I could only shout "Papa Smurf! He's here in a game, finally!" I kinda hope the Dreadnought was the badass veteran sergeant because it just feels right, especially when he almost casually struck a helldrake down. When the Chaplain was revealed to be an older less annoying Lameandros I was wondering how you would react Duk, you always call it as it is.
Ya calgar was totally epic in this game. Him shooting heretics from the thunder hawk while shit exploded behind him was actually insane to witness🤣
one of the absolute fucking coolest moments was when Imurah whispers to you basically shit talking, i was playing with some mates and they heard DIFFERENT SHIT, like for Titus it shit talks him about his failure to the company and being discarded, for Gadriel it shit talks his childhood and his inadequacies, like he'll never be good enough etc, honestly, one of the moments that stands out for me
Ya! It was also cool doing the final boss for the first time cuz my friend asked why it all went to black and I thought he went crazy😂
@@KrakDuk haha that happened to me too! honestly gonna have to replay the campaign at some stage
Can't wait to play as either Titus, Gabriel or Ronnie Coleman in co-op campaign
I’d love that. Or even playing as gadriel and CHAIR IRON while Titus is away would be great to see
the final chapter was amazing, the drop scene, gabriel’s redemption, the standard and stopping the thousand sons
I really love your light-hearted approach to 40k. There's so much nerdy enthusiasm in here, which is refreshing!
22:34
The dreadnought yeeting a broken statue at the helldrake was so freaking cool.
"Oh hey a hell drake, bet it's a boss"
"I CAST YOU DOWN RAAAHHHH!!!"
"....well guess i was wrong. Hot damn Dreadbro"
“We’re the biggest threat” was the funniest thing I’ve seen all day just based on relatability
Leandros lives as a chapelin is weird for me but logic when you think about it
It makes perfect sense and is very true to reality. That is why this game's story resonated with me despite some ppl thinking it is shallow... (which makes no sense to me but hey gaming journalists am i right...)
As someone who grew up in an actual real life culty environment... It is 100% accurate. (The cube cult i am from north Africa... It is also the in middle east and some of asia... I have to stay vague or YT censors it but you guys can figure it out.)
Those ppl who adhere to super religious rules literally alienate every normal free thinking individual around them and end up in positions like that.
They find great "success" as speakers with lost and lonely loser type individuals like them flocking to them due to validation. They become part of the machine and system that existed to create them in the first place.
The game is amazing! The gameplay excellent and even the story was a very relevant subject matter to me.
Some of the sermons i heard the chaplain make were almost remixed words of what i heard said by "recruiters" getting lost teens into fighting for IS...
Notice how the older space marines like Titus and even Calgar are almost powerless to stop it too despite being intelligent enough to see the damage it does.
If they remove the chaplain the inquisition and chaos... the real ennemy wins so you gotta do what you gotta do...
Amazing game that resonates with me at a personal level.
Calgar is really smart he got the snitch in a short leash hahaha
It's exactly the kind of job a bootlicker like him would love
Leandros being a chaplain actual fits his character since he raves so much about the codex
you know he had to suck a few to get to chaplain
You doing a dishonor to the other 2 teams that you play through in CO-OP by not spritzing them in. They might not be as cool as Titus but they handled everything thrown at them. Pure badasses
This story explanation is literally peak
it's one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, explanation
So crazy to hear you’re at 100k subs man! I always knew when I was watching your older videos that you had great potential to be a phenomenal warhammer RUclipsr! Also P.S. I love the drawings!
You forgot the part where the dreadnaught had enough of the heldrake and just tosses a statue at it
Nah he included that he just didn’t have the heldrake
I couldn’t agree more about the off screen tyrant death. I was sweaty already when 3 more bosses came over the ledge I was legit thinking they were gonna kill off our boys to give the tyranids a dub.
Ya I thought the devs were trying to put a brutally hard boss fight so I was dreading rolling around carnifexes for half an hour lol.
@@KrakDuk as soon Titus pulled out the chain sword on his own, I was like thank god.
Dude its death in that mission was amazing. I was so relieved I didn’t have to fight 3 carnifexes. Literally thanked god I didn’t have to fight them. Great cinematography though waiting until all 3 are upon you before giving you that reprieve.
@@leviburton2467 do you mean thanked the emperor? 😁😂
Wait, is Ulfar the space wolf from Rogue Trader ??? No way
Same VA.
@@Dracobyte ooooh yeah that make sense
The voice actor from rouge trader said he wasn't the one who voiced the one in Spacemarine 2, so he likely wasn't. Plus, Ulfar's thing was that he was always the last survivor so I doubt he just kicked the bucket randomly.
@@asiersantamaria1930 Plus, I'm pretty sure that Ulfar was a Primaris Marine on RT. The whole squad was I MK8 Armor
Man the story and the campaign were nearly perfect, epic beyond measure. There's conflict, growth and most of all, there's insanely amounts of cool action. The last 2 missions were mind blowingly perfect, I loved it
"From W for Warp to M for Multra Marines" had me double checking the like button to make sure I'd clicked it
Haha glad you liked that one. Can’t go wrong with a SpongeBob reference
Going and dropping a freaking million ton statue on a hive tyrant is definitely another peak ultramarinewildlife moment!!!
Ngl for me the best scene in the game is by far the dreadnaught vs helldrake scene. Im normally pretty measured when i play games barely ever reacting but when that happened my mouth literally dropped i genuinely cant remember the last time a scene had that effect on me in a videogame absolutely sick.
I did also really really like the banner hold section but it didnt hit me as hard as the draudnaught hit that helldrake XD
The fact that WD spoiled us the beginning of the game is crazy
The Operation “Decapitation” where you slay the Hive Tyrant, is by far, My favorite Operation. Also that Dreadnought is the best character besides the main Trio
While I do think the game is nigh perfect, I do wish the Tyranids were a bit more important, rather than only being backround enemies against the main over-arching plot.
Actually BEST SERGEANT EVER maybe entombed into Redemptor and become COOLEST DREADNOUNT!
As a Deathwatch player disheartened by the GW update, I loved the first mission so much, even if it was only a prologue/training
CONGRATS on 100k subs. happened lightning fast, which is expected. Your content is amazing, please never change.
2:55 i thought the exact same bro. That one guy died just like Emile getting stabbed in the back by an alien.
Gadriel like "you had it set to M for Mini when it should be set to W for Wumbo."
If only I could I would use the power of modding...
To kill Leandros, or replace a Tyranid or Ork boss with his face so we could smash it as much as we could.
That Chaplain drawing was sick and cute at the same time.
18:24 WAIT A THOUSAND SONS. THATS LIKE THEIR NAME! WOOOOOOOAH
Nah, Just genesteeler propaganda
@@BLOODKINGbronuh uh. It must have been arranged by the chaos gods themselves
congrats on 100k man! been watching since you had like 10-15k subs and seeing your channel grow and content get better has been a treat, keep up the good work brother
I’m hopeful they do some more Deathwatch stuff in future updates
As a Tyranids player I was legitimately terrified of them. The Lictor jumpscare and the sheer numbers of body they throw at you in some setpieces made me feel anxious and overwhelmed. Now I understand what my opponent faces and I love my hive fleet even more
The story was definitely more than I expected. It was so full of badass moments. Like a buddy cop movie with space marines. I wasn't expecting to like the characters, but Gadriel had me reeling from loving him to hating him to loving him even more, and chairon progressively got more and more cool, especially after the Thousand Sons made their entrance. Also it helped convince my friends that Tzeentch really is the coolest chaos god.
KrakDuk I just wanted to say that between you and Space Marine 2 I am officially in love with the 40k verse and went out and bought my first combat patrol and a couple of books. Thank you for the amazing content and looking forward to many more years in the hobby!
i love the drawings of this video really encapsulated the energy and weight of old mini figures, he really gets it
The coop in this game gave me a great experience I had not felt since the Halo / Gears of War days on Xbox360.
The scene with Marneus Calgar rolling up to save the day after you recreated the Crimson Fists' Last Stand art was so good it made me geneseed in my pants. Next we need classic codex art Calgar with the HUGE SUIT to show up and box the Swarm Lord, and my life will be complete.
Would love a vid on Necrons!
"Ere we go!
The last stand with the Chapter Banner was absolutely peak cinema.
i hate cutscenes in games, ty for ur effort u put in ur animations
This game was so good I wasn’t even mad I got scammed with the pre-order. They can keep my money if they’re putting such a big smile on my face.
Dreadnought and flag scene were peak gaming moments. Like up there with World at War’s flag scene, or Halo’s warthog escapes level of epicness. So excited to see what’s next… NECRONS?! Please be necrons.
Damn man, I've been watching all your videos the last couple days and while you're generally hilarious, that elevator scene you did here takes the cake.
That banner scene followed by Calgars entrance truly was one of the best moments ever, even for someone like me who's new to the franchise. I can only imagine how it must have been for you guys.
"Leftenant Titus, you truly are a Space Marine... too!" -Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines
What's also cool is that if you play as either of the other two marines, you get slightly different lines when Imurah does the warp fuckery brain whispers.
The elevator scene alone was worth the watch.
The Banner scene was so iconic, I played as Gadriel with my two bros. Loved that you had your own POV during that scene and it showed all three of them, it was genuinely so immersive and the best moment I had with them in awhile.
It really made us connect with the characters and each other, overall, Space Marine 2 has brought me and my friends closer and has made for some good gaming moments. This is what gaming should be, fun, taking your mind off things, relaxing, immersive.
its literally the male fantasy and what gamers truly want. (joking of course)
After the Baneblade speech, I legit couldn't help but yell out "Fuck yeah, Cadia stands!"
I absolutely love the campaign in this game. I played it with my older brother who is I believe new to Warhammer (I only played a few games Vermintide 2, Necromunda, Darktide, Space Marine and now Space Marine 2). I sent him your video in the story of the first Space Marine game.
Also fun fact just because you have no health bar or ammo count doesn’t mean you can’t die or run out of ammo. I died in the first part as Deathwatch Titus where you learn you’re playing as Titus. Also in the last scene where you are going through the waves of enemies to destroy the crystal my brother wasn’t moving up far enough at times to advance the walk and I ran out of all my ammo.
I technically played the campaign twice. Like I started the campaign on my own, played some missions with my brother on his save, caught up on my save, played more on his save, beat the game on my save and then beat the game on his save. Only issue with this is he was one level/chapter ahead of me in the story which kinda sucked.
Honestly one of the best channel on RUclips, keep working at it I'll share your vids to my friends and try to convince them to get into war hammer.
def one of the best scenes is when they take a jab at leandros when Gadriel says "the codex astartes deos not support this action but i do"
Love the part of space marine 2 where titus says "I'm a space marine too" and the cadians cheer
They really gave a lot of love to the Cadia’s in this game.🐱
The ending was so awesome and i hope there's a sequel where Leandros horrificly bites it and Titus drops a cool one liner as he horribly dies from either Nurgle's pestilence or gets turned into a living trophy by the Dark Elves because fuck him
In Leandros' defense, Titus did admit he didn't do a good job in helping with his concerns and it wasn't explain to the characters in the game why Titus has high resistance to the warp without special equipment.
Everyone loves the Dreadnought, and here I am over here "PLEASE LET SOMETHING LIVE FOR 2 SECONDS! I NEED ARMOR!"
When the devs said they were limiting the co-op to three players because having four out on the field would be overpowered, I thought it was a dumb excuse. Then they have those segments where you charge out with, like, 30 Space Marines toward the end and absolutely wreck shit up, and I thought to myself, 'maybe the devs had a point.'
The Dreadnaught line in game was Cold ASF
Even in death, I still serve
Absolutely peak. Fantastic channel, my guy - quickly becoming my favorite WH40K channel on the platform, and I love a lot of them.
The guardsmen are so fucking cool and the speech was the most badass part of the game
SM2 story is pretty nice, we basically got a waay better version of Leandros and finding out who that chaplin was is funny. I only wish we have more content tho.
edit: congrats on the sponsorship too.
I like that you gave Acheran his tactical rock from the Phobos Captain mini.
I’ve always had an interest in 40k and was excited to play SM2. But when I raised the standard with my brothers to slay the horde of heretics I became a fan. One of the all time moments in a shooter campaign.
1) the dreadnought at the end of the game is the best character of the entire game
2) the Codex astartes does not support this action... but I am here for it
It was really cool of Sly Marbo to wear that Dreadnought disguise and help our boys out
This game represents Dreadnoughts so well. Dave is awesome. Really solidifies why i love those boxy bois so much.
6:45 the moment is Titus remembering his time in SOLDIER
Really diggin the "kill the alien" on the deathwatch pauldron. The details in your drawings are so fun!
My only complaint is no malum ceado, hope he's in dlc or 3, it'd be funny if he was just pixelated as well.
"In the name of the emperor, I cast you down!" 🔥🗣️🔥 Absolutely based.
Everyone at the beginning : The Chaplain is cool !
Everyone at the end : F*** You Leandros !
“I don’t care if he has drip, he still sucks” is still funny to me 24:08
When i saw Big Marnie dropped into the fray, I shouted "LET'S FCKING GO!"
I just finished the campaign and it was so fucking epic, i heard fans didn't like the story but at least for a tourist like me i fucking loved every second of it, from seeing the guard fighting in the background to the mighty dreadnought wanting to punch Magnus, and specially, that banner moment, damn, so so soooo good!
Played the campaign with my buddies. I played Gadriel and the moment at the end where he said “the codex astartes doesn’t support this action… but I am looking forward to it” felt soooo vindicating since my friends were hating on him for so long 😂
There’s dialogue with mechanics talking about building a dreadnought after homeboy took rebar to the brain might be just an implication but most likely that brotha was honored
apparently leandros became a chaplin because it was his part of the redemption arch for him and titus, cuz after the first game leandros had a crisis of faith and was wrecked internally after his betrail of titus in the first game
I just want to protect this guy's Guardsman drawing every time I see
Coolest dude ever doesn't die, you can catch a mechanicus priest name dropping him and saying he's in a sarcophagus
The BEST part for me was fighting Tiranids. The execution's made me think of the glory kills from DOOM.
Macguffin to destroy the Orks but open a Warp Portal to Macguffin to destroy Chaos but open a Warp Portal
we've come full circle
Story was super fun, but I can't wait for Amazon's Secret Level show to come for the Warhammer 40k episode that looks like it will be featuring Titus post Space Marine 2 campaign (at 0:06 and 0:59 of the trailer you can see his Lieutenant helmet with the laurels of victory on it)
Titus doodle is perfect! Just needs the service studs
The Aurora is actually interesting, because its one of the Necron chaos dampener thingamajig, anyway if the thingy wasnt flipped, it would be actually able to stop Imurath and the chaos from invading.
this might be a hot take, but i actually love what they did with Leandros. I mean to become a chaplain he would have had to have proven himself worthy, on multiple occasions. and plus like hes the perfect dude to be a chaplain. chaplains are supposed to keep the chapter pure of corruption, and when your dude is that suspicious of every action, it makes him a good candidate. hes shown throughout the game to do his duties extremely well, giving sermons, hyping up space marines, and even hyping up titus at the start of the game. hes a snitch, but a damn good one
Warhammer space marine 2 gave me a taste of something I grew up with… the golden era (halo2-3-reach, Skyrim, nfs most wanted)
I love warhammer space marine 2. So much, even more than the first.
The story is full of perfectly 40k moments. Where the game needs to hit hard it delivers!
