What I hope is that this game expands exponentially.
What would be absolutely amazing would be if it was added for aquatic, amphibious or flying animals. Of course this wouldn't be expected since making a game is incredibly hard, but once the game develops more, perhaps you could introduce these? It would make the game seem so much more alive and like an ecosystem.
Another thing you could add are sizes for trees and animals. You could have animals that evolve to be really small so they can move quickly and don't need as much food (but can be picked up by flying predators) and really large to have no real predators but need to deal with a lot more food needed. Trees can grow absolutely gigantic and it would make it look more like a forest than a desert with a bunch of green and brown weeds in it.
Also grass and mud would be nice too.
You don't have to do any of this. These are just suggestions and it is not expected in the slightest.

it would be cool if you could add non-flowering. non-route bearing. non-leave bearing and nonvascular plants like Moss mosses do produce spores though

I love the game idea I have an idea for defense shells to allow people to make turtles and tortoises and to add omnivores along with sea stuff just some ideas cant wait to play the game I'm getting it around Christmas
How about adding a slider to make the creature models more smooth / polygonal? More polygonal creatures could have higher health while smooth creatures could be more energy efficient.
Interesting idea. An important reason for the low poly style right now is of course also the fact that GPUs don't really like having so many animated things on screen ;)
@@TheSapling I'm not talking increasing /decreasing poly count, I'm pretty sure there is a way to do the textures that makes seams more/ less smooth looking. Something about normal maps maybe?
