Learn everything you need to know to save your Academic Career from these unethical and malpractices happening in research around you!
Academic publishing has changed tremendously with the spread of open access journals and the shift to online publishing. There are now more journals for authors to publish their work in than ever before. This benefits authors by providing more avenues for publication but also puts greater responsibility on them to avoid the serious threat of publishing in a predatory journal. Every scholar wants to publish their work in internationally recognized journals but often fall into the trap of predatory/fake or cloned journals.
Nowadays people start fooling scholars; they accept articles for publication along with authors’ fees without performing promised quality checks for issues such as plagiarism or ethical approval. Predatory Journals take advantage of authors by asking them to publish for a fee without providing peer-review or editing services because predatory publishers do not follow the proper academic standards for publishing, they usually offer a quick turnaround on publishing a manuscript.
In contrast, high-quality academic journals take longer to publish articles because they go through a proper peer review and copy-editing process. Although there is now greater awareness that such journals and conferences exist and there are more resources available to help identify them, it can still be difficult for authors to distinguish predatory journals and events from reputable ones. This workshop will discuss how predatory journals are different from open access journals. We will also discuss how to spot predatory journals, and how to see if your journal is reputable. This workshop also guides you on how to select a reputable journal.

Very nice video. I've got a question for you which that I have got a Google Scholar account that was created based on my institutional email id. If I change my current institution, then how will I retrieve my Google scholar account as my personal Gmail account does not work for Google Scholar? Thank you
