  • Firstly, sorry for the overexposed footage! This is the exact same exposure setting (as in, the camera automatically controls the levels, not that I have the settings fixed) as normal, but I think having less of the white background visible meant the overall level went several stops too high. I'll know for next time!

Thanks so much. So many other videos talk about everything else but the stage of the clay and limitations at this stage. This was exactly what i needed. Thank you!

This was very helpful! Could you do a video showing how to get air bubbles out of clay and then the slip? I’m new to ceramics and my town doesn’t offer any classes!

I have one planned for slip. With clay, I'm probably not the best person to comment, but a good wedging technique should remove any air bubbles

I know you've mentioned this before, but I'm having trouble finding it now, what kind of clay do you use?

My light clay is Scarva's PF580 and the dark is a German clay called Anthracite

Can you repair a crack before bisque firing?

Love your videos, don't like the auto focus. The whole video seems out of focus to me. Thanks for the tips!

Yeah, I'm not happy with any of the camera settings for this video. I'll come up with a better solution next time
