  • Fantastic! The new bidet seat from Alpha Bidet is really, really fantastic. I replaced the JX-EW, which has not had a single issue for the last four years, with their newest seat, the updated UX Pearl. I didn’t think a bidet seat could get any better than what Alpha Bidet made, but they have outdone themselves once again with updates and very thoughtful new features.
    The UX Pearl is really clean and sleek. It doesn’t look clunky or weird. The spray force, position, temperature, and oscillation is all adjustable. The power-saving nightlight is a carryover feature that we all really like, as is the option to keep the seat the same temperature at all times, or to warm it when a person sits down. We use both eco-friendly features on the former model, too. It costs nearly nothing per year to have a heated seat and warm water to wash my underside.
    I love having an Alpha Bidet. If you or a loved one has difficulty keeping their “area” clean, or has limited mobility, or just hates the cold toilet seat in the winter, this is a must-have. I won’t build or remodel another home without an outlet next to the toilet just for my Alpha Bidet.

    We just got one. I think it’s better than our BB2000. The BB2000 stream can be painful it’s like a water pic. Too sharp. This baby is full and powerful. Also has so many other nice features.

    Can you share any pictures or video of the Alpha UX Pearl bidet seat's fit on the Kohler Santa Rosa, particularly the overhang of the seat in the front of the toilet? @BidetKing 's article notes that there is a 0.5" overhang, so I'm just wondering how that looks aesthetically.

      This is the Pearl on the Kohler Santa Rosa. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking--this is it. It works great.
      I wish Kohler gave the Santa Rosa an extra 1/4" on the back, but Alpha BIdet fits just right and has not come loose in the last two years.

    I'm looking at the Alpha UXT (all in one). Anyone know if it will have basically the same functionality?

    Dave, Which model do you prefer for the bidet the JX or the newest one UX Pearl? I would love to know before I buy one. Love your videos!!

      Ooohhh, tough question. The Pearl seat is a little less comfortable for me, but I think that is almost entirely body shape/geometry, so that will be different for everyone.
      The Pearl has USER 1 and USER 2 memory functions. This is great for us since my kids like cooler water and I like warmer water in the winter. So, I'm USER 2, and my settings stay "hidden" while they can change the water and seat temp all they want. The USER 1 and 2 is a big win for me.
      The Pearl has a built in tank purifier. It sounds like a great idea, but it's an ozone generator and that's a no-go for my home, and it stinks. I couldn't find where to disable it in the instructions, but Alpha Bidet told me how to disable it from the remote. I would prefer to clip a wire to disable it, but this is the next best thing.
      Which would I choose? I liked it so well I left the Pearl mounted after testing. I also kept the JX because we were perhaps getting another home.
      You cannot go wrong with either one of these. Both are my favorite!
      Thanks for the question and the encouragement. Please subscribe! I'd love to get to 1000 subs and monetize the channel.
      Gratefully,
      Dave

    comparing the alpha jx, is it as strong of a spray. at the high level are they same pressure?

    • @DavePR
      @DavePR  2 года назад

      Same pressure, but no final drop when the wand retracts--that's worth the upgrade for us.

      @@DavePR is the JX hard to remove if you want to clean under it really good? I've searched everywhere and can't find anyone talking about removing the JX after its on. I'm pretty sure its just the pearl with the easy release. I want one for a round toilet but they don't make the pearl for round for some reason :(. Thanks for any info you can provide Dave!!

      @@Josh-tq7jx absolutely easy. These seats are so well designed and overbuilt (self-contained water heater so it NEEDS to be overbuilt) that you'll have no problem maintaining it.

    How do you bypass the seat sensor. My prosthetic doesn't do it any good

    • @DavePR
      @DavePR  Год назад

      If you watch the video, it's bypassed with the wet wash cloth. Your hand right there under your prostetic would also do it, but just little moisture on a cloth right there does the job.
      I think you'll love this bidet!

    How do you turn off the water before setting everything up?

    • @DavePR
      @DavePR  5 месяцев назад

      The water supply line should have a valve at the wall. Just look behind your toilet for the water line, then turn the valve off that is sitting just in front of the wall.
