Just subscribed. I love your pen and marker videos! I really like my Pitt brush markers and it's fascinating to see them used in this way. I would love to know more about your process, where you find your references, etc.
Yes I started with the promarkers but my page is too small and I could get the details. The Pitt brush is perfect, I build a complete reference sheet from simple google searches etc, perhaps I can have 30 different pictures in front of me, and my eye dance around then pulling out the shapes that appeal to me. @@InkRebellion thank you for sharing that. I just need to get better at searching, I guess. I love markers but I like the Pitt pens because they're lightfast and don't bleed through to the other side of the page so I can use both sides. Cheers

Loving the sketches. I notice you've used both Faber & Castell and Windsor & Newton markers. Any preference or are they different versions of the same thing?
Hi, they are quite different. Promarkers really bleed through the paper and the tip is not very sharp or accurate. Fabers dont bleed through and nice sharp points. I also dont like the promarker cap design.

What type of sketchbook do you use? I'm still trying to work with alcohol markers and layering but i always feel dissatisfied with the paper i use. If you have a link to a preferred sketchbook I'd greatly appreciate it. Your work is amazing, it's awe inspiring that you start with shadows then line it all out and it turns out perfectly
I understand what you mean about the alcohol pens, I find they seep into the paper and through the other side, my best combo is water based pens and Sakura sketchbook, there more expensive sketchbooks I may try after this one is finished, unless they sponsor me ofcourse :p
