I started tearing up as soon as Erza leapt into the air despite having multiple broken bones. Damn, I love the feels of this anime!
Because of this amv, I now reference this song when ever collisions happen, also Wendy going "evil" relates to the 100 year quest

I love Wendy, this proves she has her moments, I always knew Wendy was very strong she could beat Ezra, but she’s young since she had to go 400 years in the past, I’m so proud of her she’s getting stronger and I can’t wait to see Her get all her power become one of the strongest dragons slayers..

Well Wendy already have some amazing feats before, like defeating one of Tartaros Demon Gates(twice(kinda), and on the second time with just one hit), going toe to toe against the user of theoretically stronger magic (her battle with Cheria at Great Magic Games) and even before that we sow how a quick learner she is.
Erza + Wendy = Best team ever

Yeah, she definitely does. I mean she absolutely is the most powerful Fairy Tail mage relatively to her age.
Am I the only one who thinks Irene really wasn't trying during this fight?
I mean, compare this to her fight with Acnologia, here all she was really doing was using blasts, condensed explosions, and fire. She threw the freaking sky at Acnologia, she actually shocked him to the point where he showed visible awe at her so much as powering up and even praised her later on, he actually got excited to fight her, something that he did not express to ANY other character in the series before or after this. Acnologia not only held a conversation with her (implying that he sees her as worthy) but deemed it worthy to keep her name in mind, asking who exactly she was.
Had she fought them like how she fought Acnologia, they would have lost in seconds.
She's pulling all her punches, I can see that she's fighting 3 opponents in this scenes ERza, Wendy, and her Mother side. Her eyes and lips are shown everytime ERza is trying to say something personal to her she clearly is concerned about her daughter. She is a mother after all so it's not ERza and Wendy who won this fight it's her mother side. 😭
When she was fighting against Erza?
Maybe.
But when fighting with Wendy she was more than trying.

Wendy doesn't go "evil" her body is taken by Erza's mom but wendy gets it back and Erza's mom finally's accpects her daughter and tells her stuff... in the end of all of this Erza's mom just couldn't bring herself to kill her own daughter that's love

Does anyone think having irene in her will eventually give wendy flaming sky dragon mode? Since irene is a fire dragon slayer if belserion spitting fire is any indication?
She is not a fire dragon
Flaming? Well I think that wouldn't be fitting. Personally I think that if Wendy would get any secondary element it should be either water (originally planed for her) or ice (I saw some renditions of her dragon force with blue, to icy-brightblue hair, and sort of ice crystals instead of white feathers, and it looked absolutely great. Also ice is my favorite element and Wendy my favorite character) - the second one she would actually get in one of my stories :D

Erza is the only dragon slayer that slayed the dragon queen without being a dragon slayer
whereas true dragon slayers never managed to slay a normal one.
Yeah, but she was able to do it only because Wendy enchanted her sword with Dragon Slayer Magic. So it comes just in half for Erza's account and the other half goes to Wendy :P
