I like it that you give a reason for your actions. As a novice it’s useful to know, for example, that the extra small piece of batting is used to help with wear and tear at the clasp.
I have the RFID fabric. In the UK I got mine through Amazon. Not used it yet, but I am going to make some little trays and bags for our car keys. I have an RFID wallet which cost me £35. My aunt was at a quilt show and had her card copied. It was a frighting experience even though not much money was taken as she noticed the transaction on her online banking. Take care everyone.❤
@@TheSewingChannel A way to turn off the chip in a key fob is to hold down the lock symbol while pressing the unlock symbol two times. You will know the chip is turned off because when you approach the vehicle door, it will not automatically open. You will need to press the unlock symbol to open the door. I learned this from a video by a man who had his new truck stolen outside his home.
Perfect timing! For months now I’ve been looking for a travel vest that fits, has this feature in 5 pockets AND a two way zipper. I wondered if I can sew on of my own tailored to me patterns AND use RFID fabric.🥳 You just made my day!

I think this is a great idea for ID protection in today's world where sadly, very little is safe from theft. I was excited to get the pattern, but honestly was shocked at the cost of it. I buy patterns all the time for purses, bags, backpacks, and wallets and even the most complicated of patterns with upwards of 50 pages of in-depth pictures and instructions plus the 10-20 pattern pieces cost less than your pattern. I am all for supporting makers out here in RUclips, but I was disappointed at the cost of this one. However, it is a great idea and really an amazingly simple concept for a nice, safe wallet. Thank you for your video and innovation.
While traveling a crossbody bag made with this would be very prudent. We have a lot of info on our phones that can be hacked even easier. Good job on this

I did it twice, until I realized I’d better turn the foot pedal sideways, which prevents the accidental activation of the thread cutting! But it is handy when you want to use it!
It's funny that you ask that LOL....because I actually tried foil before I received the RFID fabric and it didn't work at all🤷🏻♀️ So I would say no. I had heard of people using the foil before so I figured I'd give it try✅
