Amy, if the National is on Bank Road as you say they may not be able to run 360 riders as it is on a major urban thoroughfare which was the case in 2016, (it was also held there in 2008). To ensure you get an entry, particularly if there are less places available, I would suggest you do some CTT open hill climbs in the run up to the Championships to qualify & by doing so hone some form beforehand as well, I'm a veteran of 12 National H C Championships including one on Bank Road, so I (sort of) know what I'm talking about!
@@amy.cycling.adventures Handily organisers place importance on including a decent number of ladies in National fields now & your result this year should assure you a place. However, Kyle would be starting from scratch so he really needs to qualify more so than you so enter & travel to events together (preferably of similar length/gradient to the National) & gain experience, good luck, will follow your progress.
