Don’t ever break eye contact with big predators, or any predator for that matter. Personal experience, one day I was hunting for rabbits. I live in Minnesota so occasionally there is grizzly bears. I didn’t see the grizzly so we got a little to close for comfort, but it saw me, I heard it walking, and when I turn, there it is, about 50 yards away, standing up. Making quiet grunt noises, I kid you not, the scariest shit, I stare it down, and it charges, for a moment I thought about running, but them bitches is fast. So I keep my cool and stare. It gets about 5 yards away and stops, growls real loud, and walks away. Scariest true story I have.
